Something odd happens to me with the Vault. Last week I did like 10 lvl 8 delves, I got the multiple pop-ups saying I unlocked a reward. If I right clicked on the vault icon on the map, it popped up saying I had unclaimed rewards, with 3 swirly balls saying to return to the great vault to make a selection. of course upon clicking the vault I get only 1 selection which I am guessing is from the week before. I log in today after 11am est, and still get only one selection for doing 2 delves? When I right click it says I now have 1 unclaimed reward, with 1 swirly ball?
Is it possible you have more in your backlog (delves&world events while leveling even, not necessarily level 80)? I’d keep opening and claiming until there is no vault to open.
Beyond that: Are you sure that you were doing all the same level? You’d be notified when you upgrade a slot as I recall, if you were working up in difficulty you might get a third notice about your delve slots before you do 8 delves to fill the 3rd slot.

they were all the same level, level 8. I haven’t leveled up , still lvl 80. If a couple were somehow lvl 7 would it not just unlock the lvl gear associated with lvl 7 not just nothing?
If you are certain you did at least 8 non-zekvir delves then it should have filled 3 slots, yes. If it didn’t, and you didn’t have a backlog of vaults to open, I’d submit a bug report.
By backlog, you mean that if I haven’t claimed anything at all it just keeps showing the week1 item until claimed?

That’s correct, yes. It should tell you something indicating older rewards right above the collect button.

Awesome thanks, I guess I misunderstood and though it fully reset every week. Since I haven’t used it yet I guess I have some stuff to grab.

That’s how it worked when it was first implemented, you’re not wrong about that!
I can’t presently find an article documenting the change, but I believe it was sometime back during Shadowlands they added the backlog.
Do you mean something indicating when old rewards persist from week to week in the Great Vault? If so, as far as I can remember it has always worked like that. During Dragonflight I believe there was a message that indicated the reward shown is from a previous week, but I think that is no longer visible (might be a bug).

Not that something would indicate old rewards, that old rewards were catalogued and had to be collected prior to new ones completely.
I recall rather vividly during Legion and BFA you had one week to collect your reward or it was just overwritten. If not, I’ll be wracking my brain all day trying to figure out what I’m thinking of. 
Ah, you mean the weekly reward chest, called the Grand Challengers Bounty?
Yes, that would reset each week. I thought you specifically meant the Great Vault. The Great Vault replaced the old weekly chest that you would visit in your Class Hall during Legion and in Dazar’alor or Boralus during BFA.
