Varian Wrynn

It’s implied, but not stated as such.

I don’t think there will be one until they decide if they can use him as story fodder again. lol

From what we can logically gather, it’s just the magic of the swords that takes in part of the power of the wielders. It’s why both Varian and our friendly Orc were part of that vision of power from the sword. Their honor and valor. Because that’s the lore of the sword and how it was forged then split.

Gul’dan used him to enchant his pants is my best guess.

Although if Saurfang and Varian are both in the sword… .What if we can free them but to do so we would have to fuse the souls to make it whole as each had a part destroyed. …

What would this fusion be? Varfang? Saurian?

It will be best that he is gone, went out like a true King and badass.

Considering the alternative, do you really want to go through the Ysera/Merithra succession spectacle - “Oh mother…”, “Oh Grandmother…”
“Rise up Merithra…Rise, Rise Rey”

Guldan is like to Anduin
“Boom! you da man now dawg”

DONE!

He is probably in the Maw, and Sylvanas will find him and marry him. She said she was looking for someone anyways, and we all know she was friendzoning Nathanos so it’s not him.

nah anduin is marrying sylvanas

How long must the delusion remain in brine before it becomes a dillusion?

If they wanted to bring him back, they could. Just like they did with Illidan. Very not likely to happen, but not impossible.

My hopeful scenario is that there is some way for him to come back but Anduin will have to choose to sacrifice himself for it to happen. In this situation we get to trade Anduin for Varian, Anduin finally gets to redeem himself in his mind and everyone wins.

I’ll have to ask Grammarly when I turn spell checker back on. (I’m doing Nanowrimo and charge ahead without spell checker on to not be tempted by the red lines to go back and rewrite a whole section.)

Why run with spell checker when you have an entire forums worth of trolls willing, ready, and able to correct you on the drop of a dime?

hehehe… what dummie, that’s girl don’t play Shadowlands.

In any case, he is not in any covenant, and by the way his soul is with another being more powerful than death.

So I would have liked it to talk about Henry Canvill having played the role of Varian Wrynn for the future live action of Warcraft, and not an Arthas that the same company hates him, and overvaluing him as the community was the reason that we don’t have Warcraft 1 and 2 remastered, and instead gave us Warcraft 3: Refunded.

I made a joke about pickles, it’s really not that serious.

wasn’t you specifically tbh. If you make spelling errors on this forums it pretty standard affair for someone to pop in and say something.

I’d feel bad getting all their attention.

He was moved over to Heroes of the Storm :slightly_smiling_face: ;

The soul is untouchable. Reincarnation is a thing though.

Won’t work. DH’s eat the soul of theyr prey all the time. and they keep coming back.

Not going to explain this in great detail because gross. But when you eat something it doesn’t always remain inside ones system forever. In an alternate universe where we play as the demons there is probably a quest in Nagrand to pick up Demon Hunter Cherries.

I guess. Both of those characters also had a tremendous influence on Anduin’s life, irrespective of the sword. Stand to reason those two would be the ones to come to him in his moment of greatest need.

I mean, I tend to view this through the lens of Occam’s Razor (simplest explanation is the likely truth). Ergo, given that the event took place in the literal afterlife those were, in fact, the ghosts of Varian Wrynn and Varok Saurfang. Until we hear otherwise, that’s the most likely explanation.
