so all the gear from the fyrakk assault, idk if its bugged or what but I was able to get a full set of 376 gear for lvl 60, i just dinged to 61 and ALL of my gear turned to lvl 70 gear, and now i dont have any gear at all, I literally sold off my raid gear from last expac for this gear and it just bricked my character basically. DO NOT buy the lvl 60 bugged gear from the AH.

Itâs not bugged. People complained and like all âgreatâ fixes in all video games it starts with people complaining so now itâs âbalancedâ and âyouâre welcome because of posts like thisâ.

People complained about level 60s having 376 gear.
Blizzard changed it to 70, which reasonably, was most likely what was originally intended.

i was having a blast with the item level 376 on 4 of my alt leveling them 60-70 and suddently 5 min ago all my gear became level 70 ! that discusting
well refunding everything i jsut bought from wow onm the shop they just ruined my fun !
Okay great, except thats not what happened, i literally JUST bought the gear from the AH, it was still lvl 60, I had it equipped, hit 61, and ALL of my gear changed from level 60 to lvl 70.
Earlier today I purchased gear that was 319 and it also was bumped to lvl 70? How does that make any sense? Now Iâm out a full gear set because I already sold the old gearâŚ

yeah, I understand that there is resto for old gear, but Iâm not sure why 319 ilvl is treated the same as ilvl 379?
same bug has made my character unusable, bought gear at 60 said i could use it then all of a sudden it became level 70 req gear. spent the last of my gold and sold off the old gear i had

Should be able to use item restoration to get your gear back (luckily)
It was never intended to be for 60âs. They updated it. Go buy new gear. Stop complaining. Thatâs seriously all youâre doing is complaining that you were exploiting the game. If anything Blizzard should do a ban on your account since you literally testified that you were exploiting the game. They fixed what they did and you are mad about it. Get over it.

This is the equivalent of saying you invested more into a 401k so you could lower the taxes you pay so you should be put in jail. Maybe the real answer is Blizzard made a mistake and it has consequences. If you push a change without testing its not the customers fault.

Itâs been reported since April. Yes it was an exploit. Itâs also happened before. Instead of coming to the forums and complaining maybe think about it. A level 60 that was previously able to get 316 ilvl on a few pieces suddenly got 376+ gear. That at no point sounded strange? Youâre just lying to cover for your exploit.

I am a past CE GM and came back. I just finished decking out like seven alts with this gear to make grinding quicker. Then we get a random âhotfixâ that goes down while LIVE and literally after a break I come back and my characters all have no gear.
Yeah, certainly gonna be able to get over a half-dozen worth of toons items back with their online tool.

I literally have not played the game since early on in the expansions release, how the heck am I supposed to know they didnt change the gearing and itemization since I last logged in months ago??? lying, yeah okay, man if blizzard didnt have a hard on for censorship id be losing my mind right now.
bro it was my first day back, i didnt do no thorough bug detail report investigation. i paid my sub went to the ah and bout some items⌠no one came here to get over on the system, if this was reported since april how is it not fixed? i shouldnt show up today not knowing and take the heat. even kicked me out of my dungeon and got me on cooldown. im out gold and cant dungeon because of something they knew about since april? cut the jokes. what a great first day back blizzard lol
