Uuna’s World Tour sectret quest cannot be completed. Uuna does not get the trigger reaction when at the Gate of the Setting Sun. I’ve run around the whole area with her a few times now, including the trigger area of 8, 59. I am phased to the old Pandaria gate as well through Zidormi. By extension, I cannot complete the Baa’l battle nor am I able to obtain Baa’l as a pet as well. Already submitted a bug report in-game, but trying to make as much noise as possible, since this seems to be a very common, and recurring bug.

In discussing this with other people who were having the issue and managed to getting her to react, it seems to be extremely random. Some just run around until she locks in place and starts talking. In one case, someone logged out and just a few minutes ago, logged back in and she immediately did the reaction. To some, running around for hours and even logging in with other characters (or logging in other days) haven’t produced results yet.

Multiple people reporting the issue (and that thread also links to an earlier thread about it). Multiple people having problems with it. Some saying “she’s very picky about the exact spot to trigger” and listing a spot (but none of them have worked for me personally). Others suggesting a ridiculous number of solutions - none of which worked for me personally. Tons of comments having the same issue (never working with respect to those suggestions).
The most likely problem is there’s some conflicting status set that has an effect on a subset of players such as she won’t trigger if the world quest for the big bug is up, regardless of which timeline you’re in (this is absolutely not the case as I’ve tried it without the world quest being up, but just the type of potential bug). This seems most likely.
Another possibility is there is some bit of information that the guides and secrets are missing (such as a time of day or day of the week it must be completed on). This seems unlikely as there doesn’t seem to be any evidence supporting the need for this, or the presence of such a condition. Likewise, referring us to keep re-reading the wowhead guide (and/or other fansites), which doesn’t mention any such condition, would seem contrary to that.

I’m just going to leave my char AFK near the gate points that the guides/people’s comments have said work. Let’s see if anything triggers after waiting.

At this point, I might as well try the same. It gets increasingly frustrating to just run around and not have the damn thing trigger.

I am stuck here also. This is what I troubleshooted:
- I tried the previous step again at Wyrmrest Temple but there is no “Shadow Tear” inside the giant skull’s eye socket like last time. So, I can’t redo the previous step. Summoning around the skull does nothing.
- I tried the gate/huge wall in Vale of the Eternal Blossom both on present day and past. Neither of them worked. I tried standing in the exact spots where others triggered the dialogue to no avail.
- I went to the next step in the world tour. I thought perhaps she did the dialogue at the gate and I missed it. I went to the water fountain at Nighthold. That didn’t work either. The next step had no dialogue.
TLDR:
Previous, current and next step in Uuna quest are not re/doable, after reaching bug at gate.

Something else I noticed. When I tried world tour at the gate, there is a rare. It spawns right where the World Tour Uuna quest starts. Killing the rare didn’t work. The name of the rare is Kri’chon.

Good and bad news, Birbman! The bad news is, we did begin to get contacts about this on Tuesday, and based on that our QA team did test this and was able to confirm there’s currently a bug.
We’re not aware of any way players can manually get around this bug at this time.
The good news is the developers are aware of the bug, and will be working to get it fixed. I can’t give you any kind of an ETA, since I don’t know if it’s something really simple, or will be a complex fix, but do know a fix is in the works!

Has anyone had any luck yet?
I just received a reply from the GM for a ticket I had in for this bug. I was referred to this forum thread asking I put more detailed info here for their Dev Team. They seem to know about the problem and say they are investigating it but not confirmed a workaround at this moment.

I put a ticket in and this was the reponse
" Thanks for reaching out to us about not being able to progress Uuna’s world tour at the setting sun. I’ve added your report to the list to assist our Quality Assurance team in investigating the matter further though their is no active bug with it at this time. I did check for any steps, tips or tricks to help avoid this in the future and outside of the standard guide on wow head nothing additional came up."
I’ve tried with a lower level character and still didn’t work. So seems to be bugged with low priorty to be fixed.
Anyone actually got it working?
Just adding to the list, stuck at this point. I’ve tried both timelines, ran around killing all the mobs in the “old” timeline and nothing’s triggered.
I’ve all but given up. I’ve tried in different occasions, just roaming around, but it doesn’t trigger. I kept one character in there, and I just log in to check if, by any chance, I get it…but I am not actively trying anymore; wasted too many hours.
Just waiting on Blizzard to fix it, I guess.
This is FRUSTRATING, just happened to me as well after spend a huge amount of time doing Baa’l up to the point I needed Uuna, and then the whole Uuna storyline just to get stuck at that gate.

Yep exactly why I’m doing it as well.
Spent all day doing unna and baal setup. She is now at a standstill with the gates of the dawn bug & won’t start world tour. I have turned back time at the npc as well and tried it without. Did stroll aroud the area for good 15mins, relogged, reload ui. Only thing I didn’t try was toggling warmode on.
Still happening. I want my GD pet already. how hasn’t this been fixed yet?
I’m sitting in front of the gate with Uuna out and nothing. Still broken on 5/31/20.
