I think this sounds like a really nice idea.
I also think it would be a complete failure if it actually became a thing.

Great way to eliminate running dungeons while leveling. Iām sure those level 10ās are going to enjoy traveling to the location of the week to find that nobody there wants to do Utgarde Keep. And then travel back on their own, because traveling is so social.
OP, you know they eliminated RDF from wrath classic, and now nobody does dungeons.
Fewer people would run dungeons, and the ones who did would run fewer. This would also put people on low pop realm clusters at a major disadvantage.
Spamming chat isnāt the only way to make dungeons in classic. A popular one is using /who to find random strangers you can try to guilt into tanking or healing your dungeon. Guess theyāll have to fix /who for you.
Stop with the social engineering. Trying to force people to āsocializeā by making it take much longer to put together random dungeons is just going to fail. And impossible to put together raids.
You think thatād work on a RP server? There arenāt enough dark corners in all of Azeroth to satisfy the edgelords.
This made me remember forming groups with my leveling guild in BC; negotiating all the details with people in pst and then having it all set in stone before asking in /guild chat, so it would look like everyone just instantly said āsureā and knew what we were doing lol
And sometimes waiting for x or y healer or tank to log in xD
itās great to hear someone else wanting more RPG in WoW. But, I gotta be honest with you, itās highly unlikely this will ever happen. The current DEV team just doesnāt seem to care about those RPG elements anymore. Itās a real shame, 'cause this game has changed so much. The RPG side of this MMORPG is practically nonexistent now.
Nowadays, WoW feels more like a lobby game, you know? You hang out in a city thatās pretty much a lobby until you find a team for a match. Whether itās M+, Raiding, PvP, or whatever. Itās almost like playing League of Legends, waiting in a lobby for the next game, if you think about it.
