I think in addition to your complaint, I want to add that there are some people who just don’t want phone notifications. The blizzard ban hammer is pretty strong, why do they need to go through this? I just don’t want to have to deal with text messages to play a game. This is really stupid. They already have the report group for advertisement feature, why do they have to punish everyone for the few bad apples they are struggling to control? Its like the punishments for being vote-kicked from an LFR. People literally kicked someone from my group to day, and the reason was “for the MEMES!” someone was unnecessarily kicked from a raid group, and received a group finder penalty, because it was funny to the rest of the group.
Blizzard needs to come up with solutions to problems that don’t involve punishing everyone, because the vast majority of players don’t deserve all these oppressive punishment mechanics.
