Yes, queues are really horrible, but there’s nothing we (the player) can do except use the tools available to us. Use the free transfers, if you want to play.

Please, just add like 100 layers per server, or whatever you need to do to let people log in.
You can’t just transfer an entire guild plus economy over… It doesn’t work that way.

I will transfer over if Blizzard gives me a transfer back once it settles down. I don’t put myself in positions where I need to pay my way to a fix.
It’ll literally cost nothing. You just haven’t pitched it and if the options are between staying and not being able to get on in a timely manner and playing in a less-than-megaserver population level. Then I think it’s pretty cut and dry. Just depends where your priorities are at.
I don’t think people realize that if they spread out, even just a little, it’ll be better overall. 90% of the people playing now, won’t be playing after the hype is over (or they “beat” it). Not only will it give the remaining players a couple more servers to play on, after the masses leave, but the queue times will be lower right now.
Honestly even if you did get on with Faerlina or Benediction, you’re not playing WotLK. You’ll be playing “Trying to find an un tapped mob for 6 hours so you can complete the very first quest outside of the towns in WotLK”

I’ll just be in retail getting all the things like timelost protodrake because people are too busy staring at a queue timer and can’t log over to retail.

The thing is, one person leaving it sucks. But, if a large portion use the mitigation, it’s better for everyone. To many selfish people, I guess.
Megaservers are over.
They should have never been a thing.
im on bene, people should use the transfer, but im not going to, and i assume many are like me. Our guild was on another server and we transferred to bene when it died, we never had a queue till prepatch.
give us free transfers after wards with 0 days cooldown and well consider. moving to a server that will probably die and require us to pay to transfer elsewhere isn’t that attractive. not going to happen. get creative please.
people have had weeks to plan and organize a transfer.
10k+ players stuck in que. They all move to a server that already has medium+ population. That is in no way a dead server.
I’ll transfer just give me gold cap on each character I send over . Need something to equal out losing my name, friends, and guild
