Do you use the term noob for newbie/ new player. Or the historically military slamg NUB, new useless body.
It depends on what time it is.
Nub - small stunted thing or nodule
Noob - new
You use Noob. If you want to spell it as nub try nüb - but that isn’t an English letter. Otherwise it’s just incorrect syntax and pronunciation.
I feel like it’s best to just go all out and use n00b
For some reason i feel the need to chime in on this topic.
When my boyfriend isn’t helping enough during questing I call him Nubby McNubface.

Call them a ret. That too means useless body
I very, very rarely see anyone use Nub and when they do I always ask them what branch they served in the military and we end up striking up some nice conversations.
Arkane; i was Navy. My main is Shellback
I don’t use noob anymore in wow. Most of the people on wow aren’t exactly new players. So calling someone Noob makes no sense.
When I first got back into classic and kept seeing people say “pog” I was so confused lol
Newb for actual newbies. Noob for people who should know better. Nub for ret paladins.
Couchy
Forgot all about that one. Good catch
Lame 2000s e_vernacular has been superseded by cringe 2010s e_vernacular.
