- Are you looking for a small group of friends to chat with?
- Do you prefer do dungeons at a casual pace instead of pushing timers and rushing through content?
- Are you thinking about raiding but too anxious to actually try?
- Do you have dogs, cats, kids, or other outside forces that cause unexpected AFKs?
- Do you have a disability that’s made you shy or hesitant to try out some aspects of the game?
- Do you flat-out hate PUGs and want a guild to group with instead?
Archive might be for you!
We’re a small, welcoming, LGBTQ+ guild looking to grow our ranks with mature players who understand that real life comes first and AFKs happen. We’re casual and drama-free, focused on building a place where everyone, especially marginalized people, can feel comfortable and safe.
We’ve been around for over ten years now, in various games, servers, and factions. And after the lull of BfA, Shadowlands has lured us back, this time on Silver Hand-Alliance (merged with Farstriders and Thorium Brotherhood).
We recruit the player, not a particular class or spec. In fact, one of our rules is “Play what you want.” If the sims say a class is bad but you love playing it, that’s okay! And that rule extends to covenants in Shadowlands.
We don’t have a blocked-out playtime, because covid has thrown everyone’s schedules out the window. We have earlybirds and night owls in every US time zone.
Right now our roster is a handful of people from all walks of life, from published authors to retirees, some of whom have too many alts*. We’ll never be cutting edge or ahead of the curve, but we’d love to set up some dungeon groups and even a small raid team.
Discord/voice chat is not mandatory – we have at least one Deaf member – but it’s a good place to post pictures of our pets, so we’ve got one.
Want to know more? The best way to find us is through the in-game guild finder. Just search for Archive on Alliance side and make sure to let us know who you are and how you found us in your application. (Yes, you have to click a spec, but we don’t care which one you click. That’s a Blizz limitation, not ours!)
