This is a valid point. Why not offer up gift mounts for those who have just completed their 12th month of being a subscriber (or whatever).
“We see you just renewed for the 12th month, here’s a new pet/tabard/mount.”
I think the only thing “long term” players have ever got as a “reward” was the statue.
Pretty much been a month to month subscriber since Mar '05, save for a month when my CC expired and I didn’t update because I was neck deep in D3. (Thus I missed the statue by starting a couple months late, and missing a month.)
But don’t think there’s anything in my bags celebrating that.
I think they learned that rewarding after the fact is “bad”. “If I knew that was going to happen, I would have …” “Feels bad!”.
Here, we’re given the option to “commit early”. If we’re long time players, “why wouldn’t we?” “What difference does it make?”
Well one reason is that I don’t want to sign up for an auto-renewing annual subscription.
I’ll just stick to month to month. If the mounts are that compelling, I’ll buy one. (I’ve only bought one mount, Kitteh!)

What is the date of the article you shared. They make it so very confusing. The one you show and the one from this article associated with this comment page say different sigh

I was thinking of getting the 12 month but if I understand this correctly because I already have 6 month items, eg. Nether-Gorged Greatwyrm that I can’t do it.
The confusion hurts my head haha
So I’m guessing it means; of course they will take my 12 month payment on top of the 6 month just paid a couple of weeks ago…but I just don’t get items I already have from all the previous 6 month goodies?
no statue for me either because I discovered the game a few months late, lol. Apparently the other 9 and 3/4th years didn’t count.
It was also an expired credit card on file that I didn’t realize/missed that lost me my consecutive subs, lol. While technically our fault, you’d think after 10+ years they could give us an “oopsie” favor.

It’s wild that you wouldn’t do additional savings for 12 months’ sub from 6 months. $11.99/month making it $143.88/year should be the price point as many others are saying.

Yeah, and at the same time we’ll be spending $100-$180 for two xpacs in our family too. It’s really pushing it, honestly. We have the money, I just find it greedy and inappropriate on Blizzard’s part, and it just leads me (and others, apparently) to suspect there’s more going on here, and they really need to lock in a bunch of subs due to the quality of DF.

Anyone know if this will work on the RAF rewards?
I just got a 6 month wondering why they didnt have a 12 month option and then this comes out, but I cant get it now sadly

I agree, there should be an option to upgrade from the 6-month to the 12-month and just pay the difference.

dont go for 12 months thats stamping 1 year down with a company you dont even know if youre staying in. The company the gms make horrible mistakes thatll make you never want to play and regret when you do come back. T
THey allow your guild to be stolen, They dont care about you at all. Save yourself play another game.
Yea, and I guess the, what, 2 years of Alpha and Beta I was in didn’t count for much either lol. I was in the Alpha and Beta, and simply didn’t dive right into retail because I needed a break. Thus the 5-6 month hiatus, especially with the madness of the servers then, didn’t feel like I really missed anything.

So let me get this straight. I bought the 6-month sub and I wouldn’t mind getting 12-month sub on top of that, BUT it says Applies to players who do not currently own the 6-Month Subscription items only. Has anyone who has the 6-month sub items and got the 12-month sub and got the additional mounts? If not, why would we be “punished” for getting the 6-month sub and be barred from getting the additional mounts if we are willing to pay the money? Thoughts, Blizzard???
