Updating Torghast this Week

I disagree… Difficulty aside, I think several fights are a team work and knowledge of the mechanics check. Artificer for example…

its funny cause in that run i was determined to kill every single enemy because even after all that i had only 14 anima powers and only a few of them were damage modifiers, which i bought off the vendor guy before the last boss, who beat me into the floor because suddenly being a mawrat turned out to be as useless as i figured lol. kidding i never used the harness lol it was just the best option of 2 terrible choices.

The run prior to that i had over 25 powers, many were powerful giving damage, healing and mobility buffs

Nerfed into oblivion so people in normal dungeon gear can complete the hardest layer. I guess torghast has now been made obsolete unless people want a non BiS legendary.

Apparently. They nerfed mm hunters aimed shot by 5%.

True chads do Torghast naked. You want a challenge? There you go my friend.

AMAZING CHANGE for those wanting a quicker experience that wasn’t as hard.

As someone who loves Torghast, I will have most of my fun in the Twisting Corridors, and people who want it over will have a better experience getting their legendary materials.

First off thank you, I Know there will be some bitter tears in here tupac is prolly crying right now.

And from what i can tell its a bunch of elitist whining that everyone will have access now and its not fair because they don’t like to share toys and want to feel super special for being better ( spending 18+ hours a day practicing rotations) at a class.
I don’t even think they read the notes and realized what it says.

Anyways Just from reading it looks like some seriously needed health nerfs to the mobs basically and better chances at anima powers. With a few abilities adjusted.
And a lot of those adjustments seem to be more so for time rather then difficulty so the run is faster.

I think everyone can live with that in reality and have fun.
the elitist are getting challenge mode anyways, so I really don’t know why they are crying. ( i mean seriously the soul ash drops from mission tables, you weren’t going to be that special for very long)

Confused by this comment. Nerfing damage and health across the board balances the classes?

You know it’s funny, I was able to clear layer 8 upper reaches with a combination of choosing the right talents and getting the right anima powers. I died 3 times and it took quite a while (lots of kiting, lol), but it was probably one of the most rewarding experiences in WoW I’ve had outside of raiding, for the simple reason that it felt like a challenge I overcame as a direct result of smart game play and the right can-do attitude. Yes, of course the anima powers played a critical role in my success, but I had to choose the right ones … and it still took skill and knowing my class to use those powers correctly.

Regarding the nerfs … I guess they are a good thing for those struggling to get good anima powers … or, that just don’t have the right built-in ability set … but this will take away that feeling of overcoming a challenge, at least from the Wings side of Torghast given how much easier this is making it. I also just assumed Blizzard’s goal with Torghast was similar to Mage tower in that, they are challenging now, but will get easier over time when people get more gear.

What? making sure that people unsub because of this debacle of a Xpac? It’s working fine people are leaving in droves happy now.

They want to make the base Torghast more accessible and fun because its a core progression system.

They are releasing Twisting Corridors in the near future which will be like the Mage Tower (challenging and provides cosmetic rewards)

Glad you are working it…but why have these anti-afk mobs at all? Torghast is chill and fun when I can ease my way through it, take a break at any point. Just remove them, they add ZERO value to gameplay or challenge.

There’s a fine line between hard content and impossible content that was advertised as “run at your own pace solo”…this isn’t a dungeon or raid.

That’s a great point!

They should have instead put in 8 difficulty levels so people could find one that fits them.

Maybe even front load the soul ash to the easier ones.
