i don’t have anywhere near the gear to even try lol… i am not complaining about it
Oh no doubt some were challenging. My best memory of early gaming (outside of pong) was of seeing who could finish a game first. It almost always came down to finding skip and speed runs or whoever’s parents forgot to see if the NES Sega was still on so they got two days of uninterrupted play.
unfortunately that was never me my parents always checked
Got grounded more then once because of it.
no.
the normal 8 layers are basically for crafting legendaries.
wait for the corridor for the challenge stuff (as they actually reward you for doing em)
Yes, but the global Torghast changes may be good for solo. We will have to see.
You just said to gate it because you are not ready for it…
Yes, because spending an hour or more plodding through the floors only to find out you didn’t get good enough anima powers to kill the last boss, meaning you have to start all over again was definitely not a chore…
So no fixes to the unkillable empowered gate keepers?
Why even bother with 8 difficulty levels if you gut them all?
It’s funny, you would think islands and warfronts were adored content with how many posts want to turn Torghast into a quick aoe fest run.
Right? Exactly this!
did you ignore the bits about nerfs to their health in general?
not sayign perfect but they are showing willingness to change it if needed.
They took a content that’s main appeal is the ability to tackle solo, and made the most drastic changes only effect groups.
It’s clear they were outright lying when they claimed this was solo content.
I’m sorry I can’t help your reading comprehension. If you took it personal your brain works in funny ways.
Yes I was talking about your character which was the subject of the discussion.
I always took the stance when lufe was unpredictable to just not get involved with something that day, or accept the consequence of having to afk.
I was in that boat for years.
So no fixes to the unkillable empowered gate keepers?
They are definitely doable now.
not nearly the damage sponges they were and the cast times were massively reduced.
I was able to breeze through a layer 7 last night with only 170 iLvl, it just comes down to knowing your class!
And to having the right class. Did you somehow gloss over this?
When the Empowered enemy at the end of a floor is a spellcaster, they should now have a longer delay between their basic magic damage spells.
- Developers’ note: The goal of this change is to make powerful spellcasters less punishing for specializations that lack a frequent interrupt.
Too many people in this community cry when faced with a challenge
What challenge? I cleared 6 layers last week on a 155 Feral Druid.
SAME exact druid, SAME exact gear, SAME exact spec and got creamed in Layer 5.
NOTHING changed on my character and according to information we had nothing changed for the DPS specs.
So explain to me how I can go from clearing 6 layers to not even clearing a lesser layer in one week?
TBF, the health amounts were pretty nutty.
2 player layer 3: 3/4 million HP on the boss. That’s just nutty.
no.
the normal 8 layers are basically for crafting legendaries.wait for the corridor for the challenge stuff (as they actually reward you for doing em)
If the normal 8 layers are just supposed to be for crafting legendaries… why would there be tiered layers at all? It was obviously meant to be a ramped difficulty thing that people would have to work harder to go deeper to get a little better reward.
It’s funny, you would think islands and warfronts were adored content with how many posts want to turn Torghast into a quick aoe fest run.
I know right?
read again please…
Wow, thanks Blizzard.
