This. I was interested in helping with your s4 experiment, but this announcement has sucked all motivation from me.
It’s not even really about the mount, it’s about the disregard for a huge swath of your fanbase. It’s about the reversal of the recent, extremely positive trend of letting fun things be fun.

Not true. Core hound mount was awarded for lfr.
Imagine leading on your community like this. Was anyone even upset that we thought lfr was included for the slime cat??? Please, for the love of Azeroth, keep up the trend of adjusting to what the people playing your game are asking for. We are rightfully pissed at being deceived, but you still have time to fix this.

Why is LFR Fated if there are no rewards for doing it, when all the other difficulties get something special? And why wait so long to say LFR is excluded when there’ve been threads for weeks where people were under the impression the cat and achievement would apply to LFR.

Nothing because its an experiment and they are pushing dev time on DF hard instead. It’s not a full patch, its a small patch to buy time.
Season 4 when your legendaries will be your lowest ilvl gear. But everyone worried about the mount not being in lfr. Smh

You can straight up buy edge of night also, why icrease its drop rate but not gavel?
We had 2 jathies and 5 eon drop in sanctum, we have had zero gavels drop in normal+heroic - the only one thats dropped for a guildy was in lfr.
This whole discourse about the slime cat not being obtainable through LFR has showed me that most of the vocal people playing WoW need to quit and go play single player games. Stop trying to change a genre you obviously don’t like and let the people who actually like MMOs enjoy them
Aren’t there all sorts of PvP mounts you miss out on if you don’t do rated PvP?
And you cant enjoy the game if lfr gives out a mount once in a blue moon?

Why do you mouthbreathers not realize the issue isn’t difficulty. It’s time investment and social requirements for most. A full clear of a raid on normal will take hours for most average players, especially on a new difficulty. LFR takes 25-30 minutes and is broken up into shorter chunks you can queue for.
The people who hold Blizzard’s water really aren’t very smart. Maybe you guys have no responsibilities in life, but many others do, and can’t raid for hours.

You can enjoy the 6 billion other things the game rewards you for that require 0 brain activity
Most rewards in this game already cater to the extremely casual
Guess you wont be part of the ‘friendship community helping others to get their mount’ as hoped.
^Blizzard, are you really going to cater to toxic people like this? If so, then the company has not changed direction at all. Please make the slime kitty available for all raid difficulties, as was shown on the achievement across PTR and live servers for months.
