Yay Shadowlands fomo!
Lmao. No thanks.

Hey Blizzard, it’s probably a long shot that anyone from the staff is reading this thread, but I don’t suppose it’s too late to ask/beg you to change the Shadowlands Dilettante requirements from Things to Do When You’re Dead to just The Gang’s All Here ?
The former has a ton of rng involved while the latter just proves you’ve unlocked all the constructs and is more in line with the other 3 achievements under the Dilettante meta considering the time requirement on just that.
Waiting on “Fighting Words” from Sabrina for 4 or so weeks. The very last thing I need for the entire ach. Stressed it’s never gonna pop before 10.0
I like how they make Back from the Beyond sound easy, like you can just bust it out on a Saturday and do a few raid finders to finish it off, when in reality if you’re not pretty far along there’s no point starting now.
It is.
Pardon?
Blizzard, PLEASE listen to us on this one. Just look at the language you use for this event: “spend your remaining time GETTING THESE REWARDS.”
Yes-- and that’s part of the fun of the game! There is a reward, go out and get it!
But as has been said more than a couple times in this thread, part of the Necrolord Achv is HEAVILY RNG-depedent. You CAN’T just “go out and get it.” And worse, they are weekly quests. So if you didn’t get the ones you need this week, you have ZERO recourse-- and a very limited number of weeks left.
Please, this part of the meta needs removed. In fact, all of “Shadowlands Dilettante” needs removed from the meta. Overall, this Achv is GOOD! It covers a lot of things that prove the player at least tried out all four Covn.
But since we were locked into a Covn because of Blizz own hubris and have only recently been able to even TRY and work on this Achv, please please PLEASE remove this part that borders on being literally impossible to complete in the time frame given.
This isn’t about the players WORKING on something. It’s just about RNG. When are you going to learn that deterministic gameplay objectively makes WoW better! We need less RNG and things that are reliant on RNG.
Shadowlands Dilettante needs removed from this meta. And my profile is public-- you can see my Achv. I will almost certainly get this Achv. I’m not saying this as a “whiner” or someone that’s bitter for NOT getting it. I almost certainly WILL get it. I’m saying this BECAUSE IT’S WRONG AND BAD FOR THE GAME.
It’s too easy and should’ve been closer to Phenomenal Cosmic Power.
Yeah. I hope to raid next expansion, but for this one I’ve just given up on any sort of content like that and don’t even play once I hit shadowlands.
Regarding the Back from the Beyond meta achievement, is there enough time to complete the Mush Appreciated achievement (reach exalted status with Marasmius)? I just started the reputation a couple of days ago and I’m only getting like 350 reputation per day.
Sabrina just offered me 2 quests instead of threnormal 1. Onlt one was available in mald at stitchyard but when I went to revendreth to complete it she had another quest available for me (the one I’m missing for Veilstrider). Has blizz solved our complaints by having the NPCs offer all of their quests?
Non of those mounts appeal to me bring dragonflight please
An update on LMFAOMO.
Double mount drops? Helps in selling double the numbers. GOLD ONLY.
What a joke.
Veilstrider title
This is a failure
How so? The only failure I see is Blizz insistent on hiding future FoS in the FoS category when available. Thus preventing a whole spread of players from being made aware of such achievements. Compare that with undying and immortal which every wrath boomer has and uses as the “model” for why people don’t care for new titles.
In which I would say the only reason why people cared back then was because said achievements actually gave points and weren’t hidden away. Unlike now which we have metaphorical “pearls before swine” for most prestigious things.
I think that it should’ve been more difficult and available to work on at an earlier date.
To announce it now, this late, when some of us are only just hearing about it, and with no idea of when the DF pre-patch it out, for achievements that have built-in delays…it’s bad.
And that ties into this:
The existence of the achievement only came about with 9.2.5 update (May 31) but all the people who had things done well in advance by playing the game and/or having noticed this (posted April 18):
Blizz either has to shape up their information telegraphing or people just need to accept that they have to check wowhead everyday.
october 25
That makes my point more real. The narrow window to do the Queens Garden is BS.
People have had something like four months to work on it.
