I was wondering the same thing. There are no crates or zombies in Org on Proudmoore (US). I guess they forgot to turn on the event? Figures.

I have seen activity on Stormrage server off and on today. Nice seeing the event back with bodies littering the streets.

Zombies that flag you pvp, WTf are you thinking , really blizz!!!, they are everywhere and make regular questing a joke when they kill the npcs you need in cities,

Event is bugged in Org US-Laughing Skull - Zombies appeared to be phased in the back quarters and wont enter into the main city. So many zombies are stuck in a small space and canā€™t leave.

Yeah the even sucks now. Good job. The not point in the scourge invasion before was to have fun, and you put a firm stop to that yesterday. Just get rid of the event at this point. Apparently complaining on the forums is the only way you people will do anything, so either remove the ā€œeventā€ entirely, or put it back. The state itā€™s in now? Easily the worst pre-patch ā€œeventā€. Scourge invasion? More like a Minor Scourge Inconveniencing.

This is basically the exact same event they had for the wrath launch. I was a horrible idea then because a handful of players decided to swarm all the capitals and towns as zombies. The last few days of the event the game became unplayable because of this. You should never be forced to PVP especially against your own faction.
