Yeah…guess ill keep leveling alts for next valentines day mount chances or something because sure as heck not anything else that is fun going on
As someone who likes to go from BM to Surv on his hunter JUST for the change, I agree. No spec needs 3 ranged specs. Lock, and Mage should all have a melee ability. Maybe make fire a class that walks up and punches people with fire, and lock…I dunno…maybe have afflic applying its dots by smacking with stat stick…or a knife
Imagine thinking anyone who mention Demon Hunters are talking about anything other than Vengeance
What does vengeance have to do with fire mage???. Your post made no sense, you know what I’m not even going to question your thought process, you’re a panda dk for Christ sake like who in their right minds would actually do that.
Burning wound was the passive dot left over after using demon’s bite, which was low. They doubled that. The immolation aura effect that is also a part of the legendary was buffed by 15%.
Imagine not knowing that Vengeance and Fire Mage comprise 2/5ths of the meta for M+. Imagine trying to be elitist about race and class combo in SL.
No one is talking about pve… even than his class being vengeance doesn’t change the fact that fire mage didn’t need a buff, you keep saying “imagine” but I’m wondering if you even know what that means. And I’ve never said anything about race, class combos? But you just did.
Actually MOST of us are talking about PvE…
That’s good for you, but my point still stands. Fire mage didn’t need any buffs in pvp or pve, mage has been a coddled class since day one.
LOL I love when others ask for nerfs because a class is at top. Mage hasn’t been in the tops for quite awhile and yep I check warcraft logs weekly and have for the past expansions too.
Remember when Shadow Priest was tops for quite awhile? I bet you never asked for nerfs then.
Side note. I don’t play fire. I simply don’t like it and play the worst spec now for over 2 expansions which has yet to get any kind of love.
A few moments earlier.....
You, sir, are a whole meme.
If you think there are two “bow” specs then I’ll remind you that there are eleven “sword” specs.
Yes, we need a third. Hunters are the only ranged class in the game that actually attacks with an equip-able weapon.
The needless nerfs are killing this patch for me. Should have just buffed the underperformers.
Obviously it was a joke because of the massive hate for pandas, race class combos mean nothing unless you’re one of those weirdos that like to do %.5 more damage. You tried to correlate vengeance DH being strong to a DH saying fire mage don’t need buffs, how does that work. You sir… are a whole meme.
So, nerf the key power to making torghast runs any sort of fun on dk…got it.
Yeah, I wasn’t sure if this meant ‘below the max level cap of 60’ or ‘below the level cap of the current BG’. I’m not sure I get the reasoning on this either.
Possibly, they want to encourage lower-level players to stick to PVE content?
Is this you on your a-game with assumptions and conclusion making?
The point was, as I stated, with the meta being Veng and Fire mage being in every comp, it is ironic to see one wish a nerf on the other.
I will say this, my post was never meant to make sense to you. If it did make sense to you, it would mean that you have an understanding of the current state of those classes in the pve setting. And, since you don’t, your lack of getting it is inconsequential to the discussion as of whole. In that, you are a meme. You called yourself calling someone out for not know what they’re talking about when, in fact, it was you in the dark the entire time. That is a meme, sir.
Pretty disappointed in this update. The valor upgrade is really underwhelming, and I think most were hoping for a wotlk style valor vendor. Torghast power updates are very selective, and theres still a huge amount of specs and abilities that are just embarassingly unfun. Further, the class balance is questionable at best. It’s not a good feeling that several mid pack specs got substantial nerfs this patch.
I am excited for the mount though, art team crushing it as always.
Just no. Casuals getting raid gear from a vendor would just make me and a majority of the player base quit. There is enough welfare gear in the game as it is.
Ragnarok Online has the Sage class, and one of it’s variations is a battle-sage, wherein, a player can choose to get ‘Hindsight’. The skill allows the player to melee attack and have a chance to auto-bolt from their currently learned elemental bolt skills. The higher the level of Hindsight, the higher the chance of an auto-bolt, w/a slight reduction to the damage of each bolt.
Sages can also cast while moving, however, they are restricted to single target damage. They have a few other really fun skills that are mostly for QOL.
Note: The only problem with translating Ragnarok Online classes to Wow is that Wow doesn’t allow for a character to spec for defense or avoidance using only stats; Wow is armor specific, so, in order to create a battle-mage in Wow, would require them to wear a heavier armor. In Ragnarok, the battle-sage would increase their vitality to increase HP and/or their agility to increase their flee rate.
