Surprised it doesn’t require max level covenant upgrades to unlock then also cost 35k anima to purchase.

Blizzard offers flying mount in the store

“Good?”

From the news article:

This consumable item allows all characters on your account to purchase the Riding Skill

Ummm…PURCHASE? We’ve been told since, what, blizzcon (?), that unlocking on one character would unlock for the entire account. And now we’re being told there’s a purchase involved all the sudden? What the crap is this purchase? What does it cost? What fresh hell is this? Just freaking give us flying already. Players are sick of having to wait the better part of a year into an expansion for flying.

We already have to put up with what is essentially a new type of rep grind with Renown. By the time we get flying the expansion will have already been out for 8 months - a wait, by the way, that the player base is absolutely sick of, especially after BfA’s grind and year-long wait. And now we’re getting a new hoop to jump through. What will it cost? Will it be useable cross faction? I’d like to be able to use this item on more than 1/2 of my characters. And what is the other cost of flying, since we apparently also have to unlock flying? Anima? Gold? Our firstborn?

Just scrolling through the posts on this thread makes me sad from the people that post on the forums. Just disgusting and shameful.

Flying should be free and should cost 0 anima, 0 gold if you delay it this much and keep it locked behind a lot of content.

No excuse. If you had released flying with the expansion or with 9.0.5, players would have been willing to pay anima or gold to buy it.

Please stop with spiteful changes because you are being forced to adjust on Pathfinder

It’s blizurd . . . . . . . .it’s gonna be something stupid . . . . . . . . . . Like 6 million gold . . . . . . . . . Or your favorite mount

Can you please share if this means that you expect us to earn level 40 renown to have flight on all characters?

No 9.3 confirmed, they always release flying in the second last patch.

Thank god.

Is it possible to

COMPLETE YOUR COVENANT CAMPAIGN

but not

REACH RENOWN LEVEL 40

?

IDK, so I’m asking.

Oh good catch. I read that initially as the consumable will give them flying. It merely unlocks the ability for them to purchase. Its kinda crappy and they conveniently omitted what the cost would be…

Yes… I have a couple of alts who finished the campaign months ago who just hit 40 this week.

Thnx, couldn’t remember, despite having done both on 3 different characters.

You get a mount at Renown 45 but flying isn’t tied to Renown you just need to complete the next 3 chapters of the Covenant Campaign.

No that isn’t needed flying isn’t tied to Renown on alts.

Astounding. Now you’re double dipping. I liked pathfinder because I could just fly with alts without going to vendor but now you timegate it, require an achievement that might as well be pathfinder AND make it so that we ALSO have to buy it on every characters… WHAT?

inb4 the item is 10k each characters.
Edit : reading a number of posts, I realised the price could be anima, which would be even worst…

10k is like 5 calling boxes, lol.

All of my characters already have 50k+ on them just from passive gold from previous expansions.

I’m glad that there’s no overly long and hard grinds, just get 4 renown which is just 2 quests per week and then do 3 chapters and boom. You can buy flying for all of your characters.

Hopefully it’s just a flat gold cost and it’s not anima.

You can only do callings at 60. Pathfinder was cool because you could fly from the start with your alts. That’s not even taking into account the item could cost anima.
