Don’t blame just Asmongold. There have been plenty of players who have been against “play the patch”.
I’ve settled with the fact I will never have the brutosaur AH mount, but can we at least get a non-AH version?

Tie it to Mythic+ content. Get +15 in time with every current dungeon and it unlocks all CM gear.

Not nearly equivalent. +15s are easily puggable. CMs weren’t. Would have to be in the 20s, which would once again create accessibility issues for the people who want stuff just for the sake of having it.
Honestly no one cares about the FOTM titles, mounts, achievements in the grand scheme of things. When these achievements can be bought through in-game money or real money the intrinsic rewards are just seen as “meh”.
I stopped caring about the AoTC achieves because in the next expansion groups only care about the next AoTC achieves. Even got denied from a guild because I didn’t have the (at the time) current AoTC achieve (which they were progressing on), despite having the previous content AoTC achieve at that time.
Min/Maxxers turned this game into crap (I can understand it at Mythic progressive content) but Heroic Kil’jaeden from Tomb of Sargeras? Really?
Players just don’t care about your achievements in a game where everything has been pretty much trivialized. When Mythic 0 pugs can deny you if you have 1 ilvl point off their minimum specified number. It turns the game from a fun experience into one that feels like a second job.
Just play the game for fun, try to make the best progress on the things you want in the game. But don’t beat yourself up if you don’t get these rewards. Tommy from X-guild got carried and paid 100,000 gold for a slot in the 20 man mythic raid group. Achieves and titles does not equal skill.

CMs weren’t all that hard. I would certainly place them around +15 difficulty level.

Please enlighten me on them. I definitively didn’t spend 100+ hours doing them.
They were fairly easy if you had the strats down to a science and a specific party setup, yeah. But in pugs that was unlikely to happen. There’s a reason why there was a huge demand for carries for them.
The point of collecting is to feel good about having things, not to have limited things. Removing things is unfair. Also, WoW IS a collection game.

Im glad they aren’t killing the legendary cloak again. Its just a shame that the previous leggo cloak (and ring), which had a ton more lore involved, was murdered.

This is actually on point and a good case for why removing things isn’t that huge of a deal. Its just milestones that showcases the progress you made within a specific expansion. Not having that stuff in the next one doesn’t mean you’re a lesser player or something. As i said, its just mementos, and these memories are your own.
Yeah tell that to people who spend $500k on paintings.
Has more to do with IO making it a PITA on alts and the fact there’s player power to be earned there than pure difficulty. People ususally buy these carries to fast track alts.
They buy the paintings because they want them. Besides, this is a game, which is about having fun, and collecting stuff is fun. It’s also not fair for stuff to be milestones for playing at a certain time. Just because you specifically don’t care about them doesn’t mean others don’t or shouldn’t. Please don’t gatekeep.

Players have been asking about Mad World for months, glad we finally got a confirmation on it even if though it took longer than it should have.
And 98% of the content is readily available for you to collect. You only earned about half the achievements currently in the game. What’s preventing you from collecting more?

Please don’t even try to make this into a victimization movement.
Except the Brutosaur doesn’t fulfill that. I’m willing to bet that the majority of Brutosaur mounts were purchased with WoD/Legion mission table gold.
And I’m still not buying that CMs were equivalent to +20 difficulty level.

The difference between CM’s, Mythic+ groups, and the Mad World achievements?
CM’s were heavily group oriented and required teamwork and a close knit understanding of progression. So most of the time they couldn’t be pugged easily as they weren’t essential to getting active gear that had stats on them to progress in the game. Most overlooked them until they took them away… twice.
Mythic+ comes close to CM’s but not quite the same. You get rewards for each one. They have the potential to have more gimmicks to appear like they are getting harder. You can outgear them, and they don’t exactly require the same type of precision and teamwork.
Mad World achieves are locked entirely around the single player concept of completing them. Which makes certain class choices extremely difficult or nearly impossible. Melee classes have an undeniable edge over ranged. Which is why if I see a caster (not a hunter) with the achievements, I commend them.

I basically started playing in Legion. Before that, I couldn’t get enough Wow tokens to buy the expansion while it was current, and I couldn’t afford it with money. Just because most achievements are still available doesn’t mean removing some is justified. I want to collect as much as I can.
There are many legitimate reasons why somebody wasn’t playing the game at a certain time, or couldn’t do a specific challenge at a certain time. Why should they be punished for that?
Telling people they don’t deserve access to something is gatekeeping. Why does it bother you if I get a cosmetic after BFA?

If you are still are having trouble getting into a group to get your dragon Join Perky Pugs. Group Finder is 95% cancer and isn’t something decent people should ever be subjected to. You can also find friendly guilds advertising there with people you don’t want to punch.
The mount is a color variation the same as the one you can earn by feeding (etc.) the shadowbarb hatchling in Uldum. Unless just want the mount count.
