You really don’t get it. If I wanted a perfect body I’d go work out. But if I had to walk about the gym asking people to join me and I couldn’t work out until I found 4 other people to work out with me I wouldn’t do it. For you socially deficient people asking for people to join you is more important than actually working out. I want to actually run dungeons. In the time it takes to find a group and do one dungeon I could have done 5 dungeons with rdf
I can related to you to some extend as there were many bad decisions made by Blizzard during classic.
However, from the day they announced classic I was against wrapping it around the nostalgia, authentic replica and #NoChange ideas since that’s not what creates a fun game.
The nostalgia part melts down faster than the ice does in my whiskey. And after that you will have a watery game that’s not fun anymore.
Authentic game idea also isn’t great simply because of an obvious flaw. Why did we end up asking for classic? Cuz retail wasn’t fun. So if we re-launch the game exactly the same way as it was before won’t we end up with retail again? Yes we do. So we gotta make some changes. Some good changes that are aligned with the philosophy and basic elements of the original game to prevent ending up at the same place.
Removing RDF is one of those good changes.
These are all slippery slope assumptions as well.
There’s nothing inherently good about building a 5 man group, particularly with how effing easy 5 mans in WotLK are.
In, out, done deal.
All this tells people is that you don’t log in enough to notice the decline in people playing.
Nah, he keeps bringing up LFR as if anyones asking for it.
Ah, the typical strawman of the anti-rdf troll.
Only a concern if you plan on playing through the newer expansions. Most of us aren’t.
What you ACTUALLY want is an entirely new game.
That’s really not why most of us re-joined Classic.
Decline is normal over time. And I personally don’t care about people who would leave for lack of RDF to leave.
Listen, I gave you a complete answer on why RDF is bad again. So next time we talk do NOT ask me “in your own words…”. You have the right to disagree, But don’t ask me to explain it again.
I was always going to play through MoP and quit when WoD was released.
So the original WotLK was just an abomination since it didn’t decline once?
It always amuses me how anti-RDFers are the first to happily proclaim to the world “I don’t care if the game dies”.
No, you didn’t. You gave me a stupid slippery slope fallacy that has no bearing on reality and that’s all you did.
I will keep asking until you actually do it.
In your own words, why is RDF bad? Try not to go into the slippery slope fallacy this time.
I’d absolutely love to get a new expansion based on Vanilla or BC game mechanics and philosophy. Zero doubts on that.
That’s what many of US people who signed the petition want though. Cuz we are tried of running the same thing over and over again. We want new thing but with that quality.
For me the ending is Cataclysm, the changes that crap did to talents and classes and the whole “you must play the way Blizzard says” makes me nauseous.
Not to be a spoiler here but…
That’s exactly what SoM was.
I gave you a complete answer. Scroll up.
wth man, that wasn’t. I am talking about a new expansion not a few minor adjustment to the same raids and dungeons.
I mean, we can keep doing this.
You’re literally telling me that he reason you don’t want RDF is cause I would want LFR if we got RDF which simply isn’t true.
Nope. Scroll up Read it again. I gave you 2 reasons you only mentioned one of em.
Oh the whole “wont we end up in the same place” was a serious bid for an answer?
Have fun in Shadowlands classic I guess.
That was an answerer to a different reply by another person. You wanna talk about that too ?
I gave you 2 reasons on why LFD is bad. I specifically numbered them 1 and 2. You keep mentioning 2. what’s up with that ?
Okay so let me get this straight, these are the only answers you want on the record for why RDF is bad?
In your words that is?
there you go. 2 reasons. and I explained them for you. So you have your answers. The fact that you don’t like the answers doesn’t mean that I didn’t give you my answers.
