  • No RDF.
  • Bots make up 1/2 a BG team. (damaged integrity of PVP and Economy)
    Bots came back the next day!
  • Class Changes: Ret buffs.
  • Class Changes: DK nerf.
  • Class Changes: DPS floor on other specs is too low if you’re making changes.
  • Servers Locked (you broke, fractured, and isolated the community)
  • Faction Changes but no race changes
  • Heroic+ is garbage. It’s not a catch-up mechanic, but is at the same time.
  • Too many options for 10/25m + hardmodes. burn out.
  • Fresh 80s have no progression.
  • Heroic and Heroic+ use the same group finder. nonsense.

…reasons to unsubscribe, is actually how Blizz is sabotaging Classic so we "go play retail.” But aint gonna happen. retail sucks.

Reasons to stay subbed

-I like raiding
-I play other games when not raiding
-But also I dumped all my retail gold into sub time so Classic hasn’t cost me anything since mid TBC and won’t again until 2024. Yay me.

The lack of LFD (which I was very much looking forward to) means I’ll probably just play my Druids far less. Do some quests for gold, maybe the cooking daily.

When Season 7 starts, I’ll switch back to my Druids to grind all the PVP gear that becomes available … then back to my alts.

Low-level PVP has no bots (so far) and no Death Knights (Death Grip should never have been usable on players), and players who are appropriately-geared don’t explode in three GCDs.

Nailed it OP. That is why I unsubbed. Blizzard has obviously checked out. They don’t care about this game anymore.

I’m just gonna wait for Fresh which they will also ruin in some way because they can’t not screw up something that is good.

I’ll still play because it’s fresh.

It’s like you give Blizzard a Mona Lisa and they think they have to try and touch up the paint to make it look newer.

Leave it alone, you are not Leonardo Da Vinci. Go screw up retail and leave Classic alone.

You should also add:

  • Ulduar buffs which no one wanted.

When I see rants like this, I have no idea what even makes that person play in the first place. Like seriously, someone wants to quit because they buffed ret? Like the game was enjoyable to you, but now all that changed because ret does a few hundred more dps? You people need serious help.

You only read buffed rets. It’s that they are making changes and no addressing the real issues and BOTS. Go queue a BG, 50 to 80% bots!

I have 3 days left. I unsubbed because H+ is a disaster for people who mostly just play for 5 man content.

H+ would have been fun if it wasn’t just incentivizing people to practically raid log just for the daily, and if they had separated the LFG so people could still manage to get regular Heroic groups going without it being a horrendously frustrating experience.
The way they did it, IMO the game would have been far better off without it. I could have just dungeon grinded for this entire phase, which is the experience from old school Wrath that I had wanted to emulate.

Yeah, the problem always ends up being

-There are people who sub to an MMO and want to play it and only it which means they want 100% of their game time to come from one source, and they want to be catered to

-There are people who play games off and on, and don’t want an MMO to be some time-consuming they feel like they have to play it constantly or fall behind.

Who said I wouldn’t play Cataclysm?
