Can we get some new stuff for the WOW holidays? Like for real its the same stuff every year. I would like to see something besides this Horseless Headman year after year. I am tired of his dumb rhymes anyway, like he’s the ghost of Billy Mays or something.
There are a lot of other spooky things you can do for Halloween that would make WOW feel more alive as if Blizzard and ION actually cared about making the game interesting.
They have to keep him unless they add an alternative source for his mount, but that still wouldn’t make much sense.
I am all for adding new things but they can’t remove core events.
Put his mount on the Black Auction House and make a new encounter with a NEW mount that we can get.
I think next year (after all the SL stuff) a big holiday overhaul is warranted. However, I’d be upset if they removed iconic things like the HH. Maybe just make him harder or make it a dungeon with the HH being the final boss.

make a Halloween theme dungeon but make it a mini raid. have halloween themed bosses so like a big Pumpkin. a skeleton, the grim reaper, a killer doll, a guy with a chainsaw, etc etc etc…final boss is of course the Headless Horseman.
When Sylvanas is killed off, they can make her a yearly visitor that torments the Horde and Alliance cities.

I was surprised they added nothing new with Drustvar and Nazmir added to the game. Nor moved Halloween stuff in areas that are phased out because of newer events.

I’m talking about the phased bucket in Pandaria where you have to do a whole questline to unlock it. It should have been moved. Because sure, doing that on a main is fine. Probably already done. Most won’t do that on alts.
And for UC. You have to go back in time to get to the vendors, quests and bucket. They need to give the Forsaken a new home or restore the old.

We have needed new “real” holiday events for a long time. Adding new mini 1-3 day events doesn’t cut it. New things at the holiday vendors is only a temporary band aid too. I got my violet protodrake over a decade ago and have been bored since during almost every holiday.
New ones can be added, and old ones retired (and made feats of strength if the achievement is completed). The only messy catch is the meta achievement for the violet protodrake. Anything new would probably have to be omitted from that meta achievement. Anything removed would need to be credited to players. For instance, it took me 3 years to capture a flag in WSG during Children’s Week with a kid out - that was the last task I had for three years. If that were to be removed then it would have to be removed from the requirements and I would have received my mount sooner.

I notice they upgraded the difficulty, lot’s of swarming pumpkins mobs. Buy yeah, that’s an easy change.
Yes, I know several that just came back to the game and are trying to get the hearthstone toy.
This is my only real incentive to do them other than easy lvl’s for lowbie alts.
