Oh they’ll be back. They needed to retreat to beneath their bridge to recuperate their righteous indignation against logic and good player feedback.
Pretty sure the gnome is a troll.
So here’s why, NO ONE should be using any form of data currently available… They all tell nothing.
Except ! If you want to track for a specific part… such as Mythic raiding for example.
All data tells you something. What it tells you and how accurately depends on what the data collected is, how it’s collected, and how large the sample size is. Saying data tells you nothing is patently false.
Let me fix it, all current available data isn’t good. None of them covers everything or the good factors.
Hogwash. I’ve asked you guys time and time again to demonstrate why the data ‘tells nothing’, and you’ve failed to provide any reasoning as to why.
Provide your explanation for why the Hunter class dropped like a rock in popularity, other than the Hunter community being dissatisfied with the class. Remember that reasoning like “Demon Hunter” doesn’t work because that would affect all classes, and Hunters lost way more than anyone else.
Too vague. What aren’t they covering? What are the ‘good factors’?
The factors that support his argument, duh.
I guess you do not know how the famous wowgraph data works right ? That it doesnt cover all content, that it doesnt take into account -alts, inactive, ppl logging off at X spec and etc ? And so on…
You know there is a famous saying.
Claims made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
You claim with no evidence that the current data is worthless, but provide no actual evidence to back up that claim, so I am going to without evidence say your claim is nonsense and tell you to go away.
The evidence isn’t available… how can you be this daft?
Ope doesn’t count all the lvl 19 battleground twinks. Throw out the data its irrelevant.
But the before and after take alts into account. So if more people are alting Hunter now that means even more Hunter mains quit. If less people are alting Hunter now it is still a metric relative to all other alts as well. Also, isn’t one of the big factors to melee SV that people are more willing to alt Hunter now because they didn’t like the ranged specs?
And? What can be inferred from the potential number of inactive players?
Ultimately, unless you can provide sound reasoning as to why all of these factors wouldn’t be similar to what they were in past xpacs, then it turns out to be a wash anyway. Which of these factors would cause the Hunter community to lose significantly more players than the other classes?
Coming from the guy who demanded this:
What a joke.
So there is no evidence as to why all the current data is worthless. Gotcha.
I demanded it because there was no way you could provide it… You speak as if you can support the hogwash you post, but in the end you can’t…period.
Try reading, you were already told once.
False, it can be supported. I’ve linked the relevant data from wargraphs multiple times. You just complain and say it doesn’t count, and then you demand that I somehow obtain the highly specific data of why every individual Hunter player personally chose to stop playing Hunter, and if I can’t give you that data you act as if I haven’t given you any data?
I’ll say it again: what a joke.
Maybe if you try and read it slowly…
Already responded to all of those points: Update Hunter Pls - #72 by Spinnerdh-the-underbog
Not even remotely…
Yet another exhilarating demonstration of the logical reasoning skills of the anti-Hunter movement’s very own Darkeforge. Hold your applause ladies and gentlemen.
At this point those replying against this… they just trolling on purpose. No way someone that can’t think would be able to get on these forums, right?
