Auto self cast bug? - Support / Bug Report - World of Warcraft Forums (blizzard.com)
In reference to my original post above about auto self cast on only one character not working properly. All my other characters work perfectly fine.
I see there is an option to delete a toon and bring it back. Would that possibly solve the issue?
Because I’m really frustrated. I wanted to make that toon my main and it just happens to be the only one on my account with the issue.
Since the previous post, I tried a few other things that also didn’t work. I renamed things in my WTF folder to old and rebooted the game. I set my keybinds to default. I locked and unlocked everything to the specific character including keybinds and interface. I have no addons enabled. I used macro and non macro keybinds to make sure the macro wasn’t the issue. Nothing is working. The character must be corrupted on your side.
Ultimately, the issue might have something to do with the option under the COMBAT tab where auto self cast with keybind is not saving properly. It always defaults to the basic AUTO option but doesn’t save the auto with keybind. So maybe that’s why my ALT key is not self casting on myself properly. But then the question is why do all my other characters work perfectly fine?
