Update free transfer list

Blizzard provided a short term fix to a problem that spiraled into being even more complicated.

Part of me believes this is a gimmick to coerce players in transferring to mega servers. In hopes of profiting from TBC paid services.

Their actions completely disregarded a majority of the player base, which is a hugely irresponsible move and has demonstrated a detrimental impact on all medium population servers (which are listed as options to transfer to)

Activision, for how much longer will players have to endure this mess? Blizzard is responsible for maintaining a sense of due diligence. Huge let down

It only seems logical that in your Holiday sales TBC services were the only ones excluded from the sale.

Time to wake up and realize that TBC classic is the only reason World of Warcraft has stayed relevant. You had the opportunity to prove yourself, but turned out to be a disappointment.

It’s hard to not believe this when Blizz is opening transfers from LOW population servers to HIGH population servers. Is anyone from a dead server really gonna take the Medium pop server transfer? I don’t think so. The many medium population PvP servers are very unstable, with most of them (NA) having terrible H/A ratios. According to ironforge.pro, a whopping 34 servers have <1000 Warcraft Loggers / Arena PvPers. 29 of those servers have 0 loggers / PvPers. When you crunch the numbers, that equals that 40% of the servers have <1000 raiders/PvPers.

Also what Blizz did to the people of Netherwind was absolutely scummy. NW is now Low Pop and still, there are no free transfers, while all other Low Pop servers have Free Transfers. Yikes

LOL. Yes what blizzard did to netherwind.

They had 6k people and no pvp. And all paid to transfer to the mega server.

Netherwind pay pigs are the absolute worst.

There are only around 7-8k characters left on those dead servers/factions. I’m being pretty liberal in categorizing “dead” (less than 1k of faction, although 900 might still be playable). It shows the majority have already paid willingly, some even proactively/pre-emptively. I think 2022 is a good year to release Diablo Immortal with lots of pay to win, pay for ease, pay for cosmetics, and if the game gains enough traction, pay to continue. Go get that money girl.

It’s pretty factual. Game has its lowest sub count in pretty much ever but Actiderp is making borderline record profits.

The least you could do is allow mass server transfers like you do on retail.

its not Blizzard games making record profits, its warzone and King games doing the work
Blizzard games appear to have players but thats just logins to f2p games, hearthstone, OW, diablo, hots. you count as one MAU for each game you log into. Also they take 3 months of players and average them so if you log into OW hearthstone and diablo, 3 times each in a week and don’t touch the launcher for the next 3 months Acti reports you as 9 MAUs

The fact that blizzard hasn’t responded to a single xfer / merge related post just shows they straight up don’t give a flying f about our experience. They don’t care. Anything they put in place will make the current problems worse. Let’s just hope that the upcoming league MMO is playable. Sucks New World didn’t work out. So it goes.

Wasn’t that red head lady supposed to be ALL about classic, then quit rather quickly?

I would think and hope that most of the women left the company at this point and went to safer places.
