You mortals don’t appreciate the work The Ebon Blade has put in!!
(Blacksky Sanctum’s Pamphlet handed out at this event.)
Death is Broken
Blacksky Sanctum presents the following points for your consideration.
-The empowerment of Sylvanas Windrunner after recent events of mass death.
-The significant number of newly raised Death Knights among the forces of the Alliance and Horde.
-Increasing frequency of After Death experiences that all describe something dark and hungry pulling their soul towards it.
-Warlock Soul Shards expiring rapidly upon their activation and use.
-The increase in Cult of the Damned activity across Northrend.
-Dark Ranger forces present in Northrend, conflicting with Cult of the Damned activities.
We submit the following as theory only:
That Lich King Bolvar Fordragon and Lady Sylvanas Windrunner are in conflict over the mastery of Death on Azeroth.
Glad to see all who showed up! I was second guessing whether or not this was a neutral event when I was the only Alliance player for a time lol. Anyway, excited for whatever happens next!
Much the same, looking forward to what comes next. This is nice to be a part of.
I enjoyed seeing you when I briefly stopped by on Sarestha! I was like “egad someone I recognise from the forums!”
Me too! Its cool to see forum people out and about during RP though it is hard to exactly explain why lol, still cool to run into you as brief as it was.
Likewise. Sorry for yelling conspiracy theories at Death Knights.
I wasn’t expecting to get into rp things on a leveling character, but saw the event while I was questing and had to stop in. Was very fun to have that sort of spontaneous discovery in the world, so thank you for putting it on.
Ellie’s interest and concern is certainly piqued, so she’ll likely be following the event closely and getting involved. It’s definitely prompted me to focus on getting her character fleshed out.
That’s awesome to catch your interest in the wild like that! If you want any help with character getting fleshed out I’m down to help
The gathering was extensive. Peoples from many corners of the world came. But not all races were represented. Tales were told, opinions were shared, and heated discussion was had. However, despite their radical difference in opinion-the group decided an investigation of Northrend was necessary
Alright firstly, the event to me was awesome and it was nice to see people that I’ve witnessed in the forums. While it didn’t go like I thought it would, I thought that it went even better. I thought the conspiracies, debates, and banter were not only necessary but it well written. Having the Ebon Blade vs Paladin ideologies in the room added significant drama.
The group decided an investigation of Northrend was necessary if not to just quiet the concerned crowd. Because of this we will deliberate some ideas in the new discord we set up. There was also extensive conversation of a Forsaken gathering at the Sepulcher next saturday in order to recruit more of them to this cause, however we can’t hold both of these events simultaneously. Topics for the week will-
Logistics for expedition to Northrend
Logistics for expedition to Sepulcher
If you want to join the discord for the discussion here is the link. If you’re just interested in attending the event no matter what, stay tuned to the forum. Next Saturday the 29th will be the second event!

I might make the next showing on my alliance toon.
Ah sweet. Whatever you want. I definitely am going to intentionally try to get more Alliance peeps there next weekend.
I would love to see more Alliance getting involved.
I know I didn’t speak up much, but that’s mainly due to Maggie’s ignorance on the topic of the Scourge. The banter and debates were awesome, truly felt like we were having a real discussion. My character learned a bit more and even made a bit of a friend!
Unrelated to the above, not sure if they browse the forums much, but to the two Orc ladies that were towards one of the doors: Y’all looked so cool together.
Having Vulpera around is always cool if you ask me. One of my favorite additions to the universe. Agreed though, the lack of alliance peeps was a bit of a bummer. Ill work on that.
Ladies and gents,
Our second event is confirmed and in motion to be held at the Sepulcher on Saturday(24 Aug) at 5pm ST. Feel free to show up early to chat with our Forsaken hosts. Expect juicy IC banter and discussion as we continue to ramp up this event week to week. There are lots of moving parts behind the scene. We hope youre excited.
As for our Forsaken hosts, I dont know the Sepulcher super well, so if there is an area nearby for our meeting that would allow the Alliance types to attend, that would be dope.
The Sepulcher is not very Alliance friendly, unfortunately. A better meeting location might be Hearthglen, which is controlled by the neutral Argent Crusade.
I’m very confused by a lot of this and my previous attempt at this post was a bit all over the place. This is really short notice for me if I’m working things out correctly and don’t know if I will be able to attend future events.
Does ST stand for server time?
Ahoy! Seems I missed the initial meet, but if ye be needin’ a ship to help load supplies or get people to shores, then me crew be more than willin’ to offer aid. Just contact Fiona Tarwood or leave a message at Booty Bay’s inn.
We’ll even negotiate the initial fee.
((OOC: Would be happy to loan a pirate crew if anyone is interested in seabound response. Just send Tarwood a message in game))
Hey fellas,
The Boltassembly Cartel stands with defenders ready to stand up against the Scourge. If you lost home to this threat, I got plenty of room on Boltassembly Isle. If you need devices or a plucky band of heroes, then I’m your Princess!
((Contact Vixiee in game if you’re interested in rp opportunities))
The Aug 24th date was a typo, event is on Saturday Aug 29th at 5pm ST. And yes, ST stands for server time.
We might be possibly moving the event to a neutral location such as Hearthglen. Stay tuned for updates from Hotoh as the week goes on.
