No one from the Unbound?

Takorwa eyes the piece of parchment, a hint of concern creasing his stern, tattooed features. The grimtotem’s form shifts into that of a falcon as he makes for Dalaran with great haste, flying as fast as his wings could carry him.

I’d go but my DK is a Scourge loyalist :frowning:

Good question. In my mind it was all ICly going to be handled. If there are any questions OOC, of course we can cover those afterwards

Her brow furrows as she reads the posting, unsure whether she can believe this crazed call for aid, yet her Elven heart urges her to heed his warning, and so she drafts up a letter.

Dear Wildmane,

I do not receive visions as someone like yourself does, but like any child of Quel’Thalas the terror of the Scourge resonates deep within me. I have dedicated my life to protecting my kingdom from any threat, including the ravenous undead. As a knight of Quel’Thalas I will journey to Dalaran and hear your concerns.

Sincerely, Dame Amnelia Zha’moor

Sending the message to the druid, she immediately packs for a trip to Northrend.

((Sounds cool, I’m in.))

Rose raises her brows slightly as she reads the letter, confused as to what the author meant. An outbreak of mindless undead? Surely he couldn’t mean the return of the plague, after all, the scourge had already been defeated years prior. Yet something seemed off, did this tauren foresee a future taking shape? She takes the letter posted and pens her response.

Mr. Wildmane,

I do not believe we have met, however I have read your open letter and write assuming you see only the worst. While I am unable to see visions of the future, I have seen the Scourge wash over war-torn lands before, unable to be stopped. If this is indeed the future you have witnessed, know that I will venture to your meeting and offer what advice I can.

Sincerely,

Rose Belkhe

Once her letter had been sealed and placed in a mailbox, she sets off towards the harbor, she had a boat to catch.

Vallesta read the words to himself within Silvermoon City, wondering how long they were doomed to repeat the cycle of devastation. It seemed unlikely, but so did the Legion’s Crusade not so long before, as well as all that followed it. Peace never did last for long enough to enjoy it. He returned to his villa and wrote a letter that he would send to the druid…

To Hotoh Wildmane

I am not a man of great significance, nor should I ever grasp such a title, but especially not significant enough to foresee great events. Your claims are intriguing, to say the least. With the history that’s only just been written in recent decades, I’m inclined to meet you and hear your wisdom, or your lack thereof. I will attend your meeting and if you are truthful, I will do all I can to aid your cause.

(Curious that almost everyone is send a reply letter in their RP, when simply showing up to the event is all the author requests. It’s perfectly acceptable, just curious how that seems to be the trend. )

(I just felt like getting in on it lol)

( I saw everyone doing it so jumped onto it; one of the rare times I get to RP!)

Arrameas’ brow furrows as she pores over the letter on her desk. Scattered on the ground beside her are no less than half a dozen crumpled balls of paper—responses in varying states of completion, varying degrees of incredulity. She drums her fingers against her muzzle, then sets her pen to a new page:

Friend Wildmane,

I’ve only known you briefly, but you do not strike me as the type to make light of such dire premonitions. I will be there: for our clan and for my own sake. Foolish to think that I could have avoided such darkening days, but whatever comes of this I will journey easier hoping that we are joined by stauncher hearts.

The Shu’halo steps into the misty pre-dawn light and rolls her shoulders. In a moment, she is gone in a muffled flurry of wings, headed north.

Nos raises his lantern and with his other hand in front of it blocking the faint light, he removes and replaces it to creat a simple signal. His frostwyrm which is always above him in the skies of Lordaeron comes down in response to the signal. He hooks the lantern on the spiked neck and gives a slow look to Deathknell around him before climbing on. Once sitting ontop, he taps with his heel and he ascends to the greenish sky. Nos flies to learn more about what this Hotoh Wildmane has dreamed and to see if it’s related to the discussion that was had at Lights Hope those months ago.

((Tonight is the night, see y’all there.))

Bazrokh read the letter attentively. He let out a sigh and a grunt as he finished. It felt too eerily familiar to ignore, these predictions of doom. Long had he fought the undead in the past. He fought the scourge during the third war and during the war against the Lich king. Both times he had lost friends and he knew very well he was not the only one. The aging orc looked out the window of the tavern, watching people pass by in the streets of Orgrimmar. He had returned only recently from the wilds, going on a self imposed hunt for banshee loyalists and their whereabouts in the name of the new Council as well as hoping to see some semblance of peace return to the Horde after yet another pointless and costly war. But this ominous message made him wonder if such things could be linked. Perhaps not but he had to make sure. Plus anything involving the possibility of The scourge returning, he thought, could not be taken lightly. Could it be something even worse? Worse than the scourge? Another form of undeath or plague looking to ravage those who had been fortunate enough to survive this recent conflict? He could not say for certain, but after everything he and others had seen or lived through fighting the Undead legions in the past nothing could be left to chance. Bazrokh Firestep took up his gear, his wolf Thunder joined him at his side, and left the room and headed to the city portals to meet with this Hotoh Wildmane.

A clatter of teeth and slight hiss under the breath of the smallest Walker to be found as she urged another to read the letter for her. How could she help? She did not know. But feeling the unrest within the realm of the spirits, the veil the pale creature more akin to a ghoul then a living beast knew that she had to meet this Hotoh Wildmane. Eullogy the Pariah made the trek to the Northern lands…

Gripping his trusty rune stones, distractedly spinning them in his palm as he read the letter. He had dealt with this kind of threat in the past and wouldn’t allow such nightmares to come for his people. If the undead threat is to come he will be there ready to heal and defend.

I like the event so far. A lot of lets find the Lich King and kill him lol. I think trying to put some blame on the dreams to a remnant of N’zoth could add to the story.
