It’s a slow Monday at work and I’m bored. So what new game(s) got yall hyped?

I can’t wait for the new Mortal Kombat. All 5 main ninjas are going to be playable.
(Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Rain, Smoke, Reptile, and Ermac) REPTILE IS HUMAN TOO (kinda)

plus the overall roster looks GREAT. Comes out a week before my birthday too.

Also interested in the new Assassins Creed if it really is a return to the older style of AC games. Gonna wait for reviews though.

POE2. But that is still a long way out. Beta not starting until mid 2024.

Honestly there’s no game I’m excited for right now.
But if I look back on the past couple years of gaming, my favorite games have just come out of nowhere, opposed to trailers and hype build up.

I am still overwhelmed with having enough time for BG3 and Remnant 2.

I cant think about upcoming ones yet.

I’ve never tried POE but I’ve been interested in it for a while. Heard great things about it. It’s turned based combat right?

No, its more like a diablo game.

Never played the first Remnant. Honestly never even heard of it but Remnant 2 seems to be all the rage right now

I am in closed Beta for Palia…this coming August 10th Beta goes Open for all to try out…add in fact everything you build and collect in the beta will carry over too the Live Palia when it goes live later this year…so check out its quite fun easy going game…

Space Marine II. It won’t be out until likely the winter, but it looks promising.

To overly generalize. Its like a dark souls shooter.

You have a basic class system, different armor types, guns. Heavier armor effects dodge/stamina.

But dodging and positioning is a big deal. Not so much a run around and shoot sorta game.

The Super Mario RPG remake. The original was my first ever introduction to the RPG genre and a huge chunk of what got me into gaming.

I’m currently on BG3 (though I’m playing on PC so not really “upcoming”).

Armored Core 6 is looking tempting too (that could just be FromSoft’s cinematics though).

Nope. It’s an ARPG so like Diablo, Torchlight, Van Hellsing, etc.

I’ve seen a lot of this but I’m struggling to see the appeal.
Everyones like omg so cool looks amazing and I’m just like… eh…

It’s an MMO, though it will be focused on housing and farming type stuff from what I’ve seen.

I’m actually interested in BG3 after seeing the gameplay. The idea of it basically being tabletop D&D in 3D takes me back

I have a group already on board in terms of starting a party, so the hype is real
