I did all 7 heroic randoms already, will not reward valor for anything past that. Not sure if it is bugged or what

Same. Was trying to do heroics to catch up on my valor on my DK, and now I donât earn anymore valor even though Iâm only halfway to the new 6400 cap.

So this may be a noob question but how long is a âSeasonâ? Every 4 weeks? And since we are already a couple weeks in when will the reset be?
âseasonsâ = tiers, so the next season will open whenever t12 launches, they currently have that scheduled for october but they could change their mind at any time
So only 6400 valor between now and October? That seems really low, I mean what about off-spec?

It is most likely a visual bug. Most likely theyâre tallying your Valor since launch in the background and it doesnât represent what it shows on the currency pane.
In other words, the cap is still 1600 a week but visually it is impossible to tell that right now.
You can go over the 1600 if you hadnât capped the previous weeks.
Youâre not reading the issue correctly. Iâm not earning any more valor at all from random heroic dungeons. I understand that there is a visual bug about the maximum valor, but it is an even bigger, separate bug. I canât go past the 7 dungeon cap that they had before the change.
7 dungeons is still the cap if you have been capping every week. It is still a 1600 weekly cap and 7 dungeons gets you that cap.
Have you capped your valor every week since the beginning? I donât know if you have or not so I can only assume things right now.
I can say for myself I had NOT capped valor through three weeks, and still have a 7-dungeon cap. âThere is no longer a cap to the number of timesâ is not ambiguous language.

â*With regional realm restarts this week, Valor Points will behave like Conquest and the current weekly cap will be replaced with a rolling seasonal cap. If youâve missed any Valor Points in previous weeks since Cataclysm Classic launched, youâll now be able to catch up from those weeks.
*There is no longer a cap to the number of times you may earn Valor Points from Random Dungeon Finder each week, up to your normal Valor Points cap.â
Thereâs not supposed to be a weekly cap, but instead a seasonal cap. If youâve capped the previous 3 weeks, then yes, the rest of your cap for this week will be 1600. But if you havenât capped the past 3 weeks, then your cap should be 6400 minus however much you did get.
The 7 dungeon limit is supposed to be removed, based on the post. However, itâs supposedly still in place and is preventing people from going above the old 1600 weekly cap.
There very much may be a visual bug preventing you from seeing your seasonal cap, but the reports are that alts/people who havenât capped since week 1, are unable to progress past 1600, regardless of the visual error

As I said, the guyâs not reading anything correctly.
I can confirm that I hit level 85 on my alt 2mins before the servers went down. Around an hour after servers were up I did my first Heroic Dungeon and got Valor but now after earning 1600, I canât earn anymore in-game it shows my seasonâs cap is 30/6400 as I spent some already.
Still gated @ 1600 valor for the 7 heroic dungeon completions

You are correct, I was just breezing over your original post real quick and just didnât read it fully. Even though it was short.
That does sound like a bug. If you would have just answered my question (which was obviously in the first post which was awful quick reading on my part) again, I would have been like man my bad youâre right.
