Note - all classes were not balanced the same, and assuming this is how the game has ever worked is highly illogical. Nice try.
Blizzard are aware of how, and why ret paladins were nerfed to their current state in classic WOTLK and that is exactly why they are receiving a buff while others are not despite the information presented to you.

Of course you don’t understand it. How can someone that calls wow “Just a video game” understands the concerns of people who played this game for close to two decades. Half of that time was as a refugee, jumping from a PServer to another one in an strive to play the game they loved but was taken away from them because the company decided to listen to their casual players rather than sticking to their loyal customers.
Classic became a thing because of 500,000+ people like us who signed the petition and forced Blizzard to react. Classic was supposed to cater us not you “this is just a video game” cry babies and retail fan bois. They had retail for that purpose.
This is an absolutely short sighted and disastrous change that’s gonna damage classic greatly in long run. Of course you don’t care about it, because you don’t care about classic. You’ll burn it down with your horrible ideas and request and go back playing your league of legend. And we, the real classic players, will lose our home once more and have to go refuge back to PServers.

Progressive patches were the answer all along. They would probably say “too confusing” or “too much work” for them to actually implement. Final patch versions for early content have caused major issues in vanilla Classic, TBC Classic, and now Wrath Classic. Too late to change that though since 70% of the population will be gone once Cataclysm Classic releases.

You’re not wrong, but Cata Classic will lose its population because it was the turning point for when it started transitioning into Retail.
I might play MoP if the PVP is fun enough.

I just dislike the feel of Cataclysm. It removed the old world and it’s charm. Everything felt like a theme park as opposed to a world with lore.
You might not be swayed, but it’s how I felt, and it’s why I left.

I love this game, been playing it for 17 years now. Dont talk to me about it being just a game.
Sometimes common sense must replace folks rabid need to be right about what they want.

I am not here to argue with the like of you that have no understanding of classic philosophy and basic elements. I am just here to have a voice out of obligation for my generation who aren’t really that much into social media and forums.
This was a horrible horrible decision that will damage classic and the true classic player base in long run. You don’t need to worry about it at all. End of the story.
