My alt who ran 6 untimed got tier.
My main got no tier sets after getting full M+ vault both weeks (already KSM) and full raid clear.
What gives.

Having 4 set this early (without RWF level shenanigans) is an outlier.
It doesn’t make sense for bad luck protection to start before you’d realistically expect to have the bad luck.

Please stop saying it’s bad luck protection. It’s not! It’s actually the primary intended method of acquisition because it’s more powerful than other means. Which is why it’s time gated because god forbid people that don’t want to raid don’t raid or do M+ for a low chance once a week the the vault.

Lol you believe that… I’m literally rolling laughing. Because CC allows you to pick stats and is upgradable if you use M+ as your base. That’s insanely powerful.

Well there is a point in the season where you will be able to craft all the tier pieces at once on a character if you have enough cosmic flux.

No, the stats are fixed for each slot.
It does preserve the M+/PvP upgrade path, socket and tertiary stats, but so does looting the item from the PvP/M+ row in the vault.

By that point, the expectation is that tier will kind of be expected. At that point, it becomes a catch-up system. At this point in the patch, you’re not expected to have full 4 set.

Depends on what content you are doing. People can do say 15s without the tier. So it’s already possible to keep doing that. Just people will want others that have that stuff already.
People will want double legendaries too, which I think comes out soon a week or two or three.
