Unsubbing, WoW tokens, boosts

You could, if you said “Couldn’t have said it” instead of “Couldn’t of”. Correct is better.

I’m sorry to see another veteran player go Hyndalin but I totally get where you’re coming from. The game is like every other worthwhile thing in this world, its eventually ruined by lust and greed.

Take care friend, I hope you find other things that bring you peace & happiness

oooh, I get to be pedantic! Ybarra isn’t the president of Blizzard. He was advertising his stream, in which he’d be doing a sale run…not the sale itself.

I like it that people just take it for granted that boosting is a bad thing. But I wonder if any of them can actually explain why.

Wait until you notice how often, and wrong, people use “literally” on this forum. Once you do, you can’t unsee it.

So you’re going with a technicality? He was promoting his boosting on his stream so because he was promoting his stream and not the boosting directly, that’s just magically ok? You people…

It is a bad thing.

Are you serious? It diminishes the integrity of the game. It creates an unfair playing field for everyone in the game. How do you not see that?

That and every other person doesn’t know the difference between “than” and “then” which is truly sad

The one that drives me nuts is “alot.”

IT’S TWO FREAKING WORDS

I do agree with you on the token thing. It has damaged the game to a certain extent. Boosts have always been around though, (just more w/ token sells) . I wish Blizz would stop selling tokens, that alone will lower the boosting a lot, since ppl just swipe to get gear, achievements, mounts etc. But I can only imagine the amount of money is generates them.

I also wish Blizz would Ban the Boost selling in General Chat and make a “Boost Tab” for the ppl that are looking for those types of things. Because lets be honest, Blizz doesn’t care about anything but the bottom line.

Or how about people that write 200 word mini essays without a single capital letter? I was told it’s a “causal” posting style, whatever thats supposed to mean.

I accepted defeat on that front when all reputable dictionaries decided that literally and figuratively were synonymous. Still not happy about it, though.

Because they fundamentally change the way people interact with the game. Why do people assume an mmorpg is a vacuum?

Never played any of the free to play MMOs, I see. Perhaps give them a shot to discover what a real p2w game is.

lol I couldn’t help it. <3

I game doesn’t need to be pay to win (Which WoW pretty not technically is atm) to be a whale fest. Which WoW factually is: lowest sub numbers to date, highest profit the game has ever had.

How else do you think that’s happened? We’re not paying 50$/mo.
