I’m honestly shocked that anyone thought this would ever happen. It didn’t happen the first time around. Why would they do it now??? What nostalgic experience did you want to relive where you started on a fresh TBC server? It never happened and probably never will. The closest you’ll come is rolling a level 1 alt.

That is likely because money is the only language Blizzard speaks anymore. If enough people UN subbed it would create pressure. I’m not saying it’s the ideal path, just that people recognize that businesses care about money first.

They didn’t say that there aren’t going to be any fresh servers and it would be strange if there isn’t going to be any.
I’d imagine that TBC for some was their first experience with WoW and that they’d like to emulate what it was for them back then.
Except that if you had bothered to look at my legacy achievements you would have had solid proof that I did in fact exist during TBC.
So roll on a different server as a level 1. That’s what it was like starting out as a new player in TBC.
I think they’d rather start on a server where everyone is level 1, i can’t relate but i can understand why they’d want to have fresh servers.
I’d imagine it’s so that they’re part of a forming server community rather than an already established one. Can’t say for sure as again i can’t relate so this is just speculation on what i might want if i were to start fresh.

Fresh servers would be great. But having them roll forwards is what happened oh so many years ago. Just gotta deal with it, TBC was great and will be great.

Don’t worry tourists, there’s a dozen dead classic servers that will be dead tbc servers at launch. You can roll a lvl 1 there and quit before lvl 50, it will be the exact same play experience as a fresh tbc server for you.
Same, I was bored of shadowlands, excited for tbc/fresh classic but nope…
