I didn’t start playing WoW until the start of Cataclysm in 2010. I never played the original vanilla, so no nostalgia allure for me. And I’m on a PVE realm so my game isn’t broken at all. I wasn’t sure how I’d do without all of the quality of life changes that I’m used to in Retail, but it turns out I did just fine and am enjoying Classic immensely. It’s not for everyone, but betcha there are more than a few folks like me out there.
Well said.
Not exactly the same, but I was subbed continuously without any breaks from when I started in Dec 2010 through to May 2019 when I realized I hadn’t logged in to play for any length of time since around Christmas 2018. Still not subbed, but happy to pay on a month by month basis for Classic for as long as I keep enjoying it.
You wrote your entire head canon about half-assed distribution schemes because the average 9,400 offended you and you don’t even know what a chilling effect is.
Okay.
Go Google “chilling effect” real quick, you chihuahua.
Nope, unlike you I’m not a quitter. I have not gave up on playing the game. I embrace what it is. Those of you who can’t do it just like this guy has done can either transfer, reroll, or quit.
If you think you can dust yourself off and persevere through adversity like myself then don’t complain, get yourself back up, and fight back. Stop with this defeated mindset.
Uhh, I know that you’re still getting very upset/distraught from a Video game. Take a break or something if its that bad, there’s more to life then just dying over and over and complaining about it, child.
Its discouraging players from dying over and over? Isn’t that the point of a PvP server? Is for one faction to DENY the other of beneficial resources?
It’s still dramatic that you get somber and depressed that you die in a video game over and over. Go outside and get some perspective on life and realize that its just lines on a computer.
Nope, won’t unsubscribe.
I’m having fun even on a Horde dominant server(bigglesworth).
I quested out steppes/gorge the last 2 nights on my 53 rogue and only died a handfull of times. No more than 10% of my time was spent ghost running.
Even got a few 300+ honor hks on a 60 warrior that seemed determined to beat me and a 59 hunter who was generous enough to help me with Dragonkin Menace.
Once you get past the flight paths and into the questing areas it’s not that bad. I haven’t been to winter spring / felwood timbermaw areas yet tho. I found those areas the worst pre-honor.
I’m not so sure that battlegrounds won’t help significantly. That’s one area where I feel like we’ll have to wait and see. It’d be great if they’d open XRBG across PvP and PvE servers so that the faction balance will be considerably closer for queues, but people will complain about that for a host of other reasons.
The idea that there are, at any given time, “9,400” EXTRA horde players should kinda have set off alarm bells, no? Given that most servers do not have anywhere near that many total players logged in at once?
And what’s with the weird chihuahua obsession? I mean, I like dogs but damn.
