The nail in the coffin is you are trying to extend subs so much that it’s giving me a crappy experience.
I won’t write up a novel but here’s why
Time gated main story. It feels like a 15 minute cartoon show every week. It’s not well written, and the story is just bad. (subjective)
Loot nerf in M+ and Raids. Loving those 35 anima
Change in the method of gearing up. It’s apparent you want us to get 1 chance of meaningful (lol) upgrade a week from the vault. If you’re lucky you might get more from M+ and raids.
weird FP locations and not enough of them, no flghtmaster whistle, making us walk in the maw, ground mounts in circles just to get some where.
overtuned content.
EVERYTHING feels like artificially slowing me down. To me it’s not worth the box+subs any longer. You guys are making less content per expac, and stretching them out to make it seem like a lot of content when its not.
Must have never played other MMOs? Once you play ESO, you’ll see just how much of a decent story an MMO can have. Just cause the “top” MMO can’t write it’s way out of a paper bag doesn’t mean no one else can.
WoWs lore is better in my opinion. ESO tries to woo you with nice voice actors and seemingly epic moments. WoWs lore is larger and has more stuff going on. ESO is a flashy burst of cool, but its over fast. WoW is a slow burn of decent entertainment.
ESO story writers destroy wows rubbish storyline’s. Back into torghast 4 times so far to find some information to rescue ‘insert npc name here’. It’s the most boring campaign ever.
Have you collected 20 million anima across 16 characters yet for all of the armor sets/weapon appearances? I doubt it. Plenty of content to do you’re just lazy or you’ve outgrown gaming might be time to pick up a new hobby. Game is fine, loot is fine, progress is fine, the story is great, new and better than it has ever been. At some point they gotta do new lore which might be a shocker to some people but it is necessary for longevity and basic business.
That’s your opinion. ESOs world is small, compared to Warcraft, and it mainly focuses on a select few events. Its better in those small instances, but you run out of story so quick, WoW keeps you occupied with decent story, I like my story to not be finished in a weeks time.
Its like asking, would you rather have 10 Ferraris, or 1,000 BMWs?
The Maw is pretty bad setup. It reminds me of a George Lucas prequals framework. Where the story had a couple light sabers, then it was light sabers needed in every part of the movie screen. It seems they just kept adding on conditions.
We’ve been dealing with Sylvanas drama queening for an xpac and a half now. WoWs early stuff was good, downhill badly since legion on the story/lore side of things. But yes it’s just my opinion.
You seriously think doing the same thing over and over again on 16 toons is content? I’m sorry but when on earth did playing dress ups become more important than actual story line. Innovation is what keeps any basic business alive not charging people for the hope of adding something in the future.
