Yeah the collection rooms were a huge swing and a miss, as was the severely RNG nature of digsites in catalysm azeroth.
All those Alpaca’s are still obtainable too, if you still want those colors after getting this one.
The one from the Vol’dun world quest, and in Uldum are fairly easy to do, the rare spawn from Vol’dun is a little bit more of a pain with no groups being made for getting it anymore, but taking a pass over its spawn points every now and then isn’t so bad (did this mid-shadowlands for a friend who wanted the black alpaca (they never did bfa, so didn’t have bfa pathfinder), just flew over its spawn points at a random time just once per day, and got it after a week or so)
And neither is it about you.
To your point, I never claimed “it was about me.” I’m not trying to force my opinion on anyone. I merely stated “I don’t understand how anyone could FIND it fun.”

Consider that 99% of my disdain comes from the Achvs being so poorly designed. Don’t just find the item… find it TWENTY TIMES??? wtf why??? There’s nothing else creative and fun they could have done??
Just remove the “20 times” part and just have an Achv for finding things. It would immediately be a better design.

I would, if they added more content. I’ve already gotten everything you can get from Arch 
But fair enough. I kinda like that there’s still an uber-grind in game. They’ve nerfed so many of the old ones. It’s an MMO mainstay in my opinion.
I agree but as long as they dont make another “draenor curator” achiev that one was brutal or they can but not with that kind of horrible % of getting the pristine versions

As an example of how weird the human brain can be…
It seems that I would enjoy a grind of trying to get A, then B, then C, then D … etc. It feels like PROGRESSION, even if it’s doing the same thing, but chasing a different McGuffin.
But in Archy, you’re tasked to get A, then A, then A, then A, then A, then A … I’m like… REALLY!?! I DID THIS ALREADY!
That’s my issue with it. Even if, when you zoom out, you’re really doing the same thing. One feels good to me, one doesn’t.

I haven’t had the “pleasure” of that yet. Just starting out with Arch. Looking to get the Seeker of Knowledge title.
Seems to me to be not that different from farming a dungeon for A and you keep getting B and B and B…etc.
Ah nice i remember that one, if i remember correctly i think i liked that one because it wasnt to unreasonable

There was an extra one in MoP which was finding 20 Rare treasures… that when it was CURRENT, was a nightmare because EVERYONE was camping the spawns and it was next to impossible to get them.
If I spent 100 hours back then, I might have gotten 3-5 of them. It was a waste of my time, I gave up.
I came back in BfA … and got the remaining 15+ … in about an hour. lololol
There are certain things in this game where it TRULY pays to wait.

It would be great if it weren’t bugged. I have a red ? in my bags that I can’t do anything with. I assume it’s the two items (Chalice/Note) I need to continue this chain.
