Unpopular Opinions for stuff in the media

What’s funny about your statement is you’re the one that started it.

I didn’t need to be told I have a right to my opinion.

(P.s. I know you’re reading this.)

The only Disney product I ever really liked was Fantasia, for the Chernobog scene. :metal:

Disney is saccharine and utterly boring otherwise, and even as a child I hated it.

I don’t consider Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker in “Dark Knight” to be good acting. He comes across to me as a try-hard and the character’s scariness is too over the top that it’s actually comical. His death made the claims of good acting stronger.

I don’t deny that Heath is a good actor, just not as the Joker. RIP BTW.

I think the problem with HL Joker is how people insist on it. It’s crossed the point of people that have never seen the movies probably say his Joker is the best because that’s what they’ve been told.

I think he did a good job but he was never my favorite. My favorite was always Jack Nicholson because I think he nailed someone that’s happy to be a psychopathic killer. I don’t remember HL’s Joker ever being happy, cracking a joke, or anything like that. It was just dark and sarcastic which isn’t how I would describe the Joker. The closest he came to being my kind of Joker was when he was in the nurse’s outfit and he was trying to blowup the hospital.

A good example of what I mean is Malcolm McDowell’s Alex from Clockwork Orange. There was a scene in that movie where he’s beating the crap out of an old man while singing “Singing in the Rain.” He was acting like he enjoyed the act and found it hilarious.
