Unpopular opinion

Where has anyone demonstrated outrage?

No they don’t but I would be happy to see people banned for false reporting.

A lot of people who say they were falsely reported are often not telling the whole story. They become upset that somebody didn’t like the thing they did and feel it’s unfair. You and many others have not been reported because you are actually not saying rude or awful things.

So maybe it’s just those loud players that are acting like victims but they are just mean and deserved their report.

I see this too often to not believe it.

Is the system abused sometimes? I’m sure it is. But not as often as some make it seem.

So…for example here, and this just an example:

You would only want 1 review given to a movie? You would only want 1 post about feedback for a Alpha/Beta test?

I’m just curious.

They do want people banned for reporting spam

As spam can be many things

While you are correct, the issue still remains that automatic bans are happening now for things that people did not do. Blizzard admitted to that with the AV month long bans for people who were not actually AFK.

It shouldn’t be a unpopular opinion. The people who abuse the system with frivolous flagging are scum, and its beyond time they started to “find out”.

Yet that does not say that the suspensions are automatic. The debuff to not earn until you get into pvp combat to clear the afk debuff is automatic. But no where does it say the suspensions are.

I would like all those reviews to be in the same spot together

Instead of spread all over the place because people think that their “review” is so much more special it needs a new space just for it

Even though it’s saying basically the same thing as every other review

What is or isn’t spam is up to Blizzard to decide. But they should be more clear on what is and isn’t reportable as spam.

Actually it does. Because they admit their system wrongfully banned these people.

Ok, so the mod that reviews it gets to pick if it’s spam or not

Better not risk reporting that guy for spam who keeps sending you the same message 7 times cuz the mod who reviews it doesn’t consider 7 messages spam so you get banned instead

it all happens we know it and i will tell ya from my own experience if you get in trouble alot your screwed. there’s no them looking into it you just get hammered you accept it and move on or come here and cry lol. do i think those people falsely reporting should get hammered just as bad sure but we all know it ain’t always happening and you can take the forums as a good example of how alot players act can you imagine how many reports blizz probably gets on a daily basis lol. would you actually sit and look at every single report which we know don’t happen but give me a break you and i both know you wouldn’t.

It’s the rage topic of the moment… in a day or so it will be something different. :no_good_woman:

I just assume all the classic posters are basically one or two people sockpuppeting. :person_shrugging:

Yes according to whatever rules Blizzard has set.

That would require intent, and good luck proving that.

It’s not an unpopular opinion.

The problem is it’s quasi impossible to police without full on mind reading capabilities.

So… Yes to never report anyone for spam then cuz the mod may just ban you instead?

As I said before, seems like a good way to punish anyone for trying to use the report system

what makes you think blizz even looks at most the stuff would you with the maturity around here? probably in the millions daily with reports lol.
