There’s nothing wrong with Blood DPS. I play one and do absolutely fine despite being far over hitcap and missing close to 10% DPS worth of gear.

Well if they are buffed they are no longer severely below average. Doesn’t sound like you are playing above average. I mean wrath been around for decades you could have looked up the best classes. I feel its more player than class.
Classist is the word you’re looking for …
I just did over 2,000 more DPS on Razorscale than you as Blood. What is wrong with Blood again?

I love that you’re championing Blood. It’s a fun spec and plenty viable. Very underrated. If they fix Dancing Rune Weapon it will even be competitive. As it is it’s not a carry spec by any stretch.

Objectively I am playing above average. Also to your first sentence- Yes, that’s my point.
It’s just unfortunate that the entire WoW community has this incorrect perception about “meme” specs. Blood is obviously worse than Frost and Unholy but there are niche scenarios where it can actually prove to be a better choice.
My Razorscale parse the one week I did it as Frost was around rank 120 at the time, so it’s a good parse. My Blood parse today was actually higher when you include the 600 DPS from UF:
My 10 man group doesn’t have the 10% AP buff from another source, so Blood is the best spec I can play there. The shorter fights accentuate the strong opening burst of Blood as well. It’s just not as useless as people think it is, no spec really is.
Going to scale up a lot in ToGC as well. Better tier, better sigil; better everything. Going to be a lot closer to Frost than it is now, something like 4-5% behind.
I don’t think you understand how parsing works fundamentally if you think doing -500dps should be categorized as “parsing better”.

I did more DPS as Blood on that fight than I did as Frost. Unholy Frenzy is counted as a separate entity in logs but it’s still my damage. Do you think we had a 26th player named Unholy Frenzy who was using Death Strike and Heart Strike? Imagine if they separated the damage contribution from Death Wish in the logs, that’s what happens to Blood DKs.
