One of the big reasons that I want Sethrak isn’t even for the gameplay but for the RP aspect of the race, being able to wander around Stormwind/Orgrimmar and play out a different kind of character, make freinds, develop my own story, etc etc.

I really like that Alliance Sethrak would be so completely other compared with the other Alliance races. Despite that they somehow feel like they could fit there.

She’s a Sethrak hero for the game. Her name is Vessina. I could connect dots in a conspiracy theory manner and say, since she is a hero introduced in a set called Rise of Shadows, that we’ll get playable Sethrak in Shadowlands.

Hmm wait a second, would the Sethrak that were faithful go to Ardenweald as that is where Loas go to revive themselves?

Its not as cut and dry as that.

Alexandros Mograine would generally have been expected to go to Bastion but he went instead to Maldraxus. Theres more to it than just what you were attached to in life.

From what I understand and not delving too much into spoilers, Emeni wanted a stronger body to better reflect her soul and personality. She is a very strong and commanding woman. That likes to murder things. She even wears a crown in her abomination form, rofl.

Would be at least a neat little Easter egg to throw Vessina in WoW. Not sure if she’d be alive or in the Shadowlands though.

So I threw out a tweet, today! Not sure what will or won’t come of it but I referenced this thread.

I’ve learned that if you really want something or are really passionate about it, to make those leaps. (Not that making a tweet is all that risky, lol) But at least I won’t be stuck thinking “what if”.

Just excited with obsessive enthusiasm. (And really need the distraction today. Mom will be finding out if her stage 4 cancer has grown)

I generally never use my twitter. Don’t have an interest in it. I am solely using it to advocate for Sethrak. xD And post pictures of my pet snakes, cause why not.

Good news. My mom’s scan can back negative for new tumors. But she has a scope next week. So we’ll see how that goes. Then scans every 3 months. They’ve done essentially all that they can for now. So here’s hoping it goes into remission!
Cancer is no joke. Especially stage 4.

Playable Sethrak won’t make my mom better but it would definitely cheer me up some and bring some happiness.

Good news. My mom’s scan can back negative for new tumors. But she has a scope next week. So we’ll see how that goes. Then scans every 3 months. They’ve done essentially all that they can for now. So here’s hoping it goes into remission!

My father is in remission right now. They check him out every other week and are going to remove his bladder. His treatment beat it up something fierce.

Oof. I feel for ya. I got concern the remaining portion of my mom’s liver is not doing well. But it’s hard to get the straight facts with the nature of cancer and living 800 miles away. I also suspect she is not telling me everything. Not cause she wants to hide it, but I think she is underestimating the disease. Which makes me panic. But the info I got today is definitely good news.

And on a less somber note, I did make that suggestion to toss in Vessina. I really think it would make a clever and fun easter egg. I put it in the PTR suggestion box. They fixed a bug I pointed out (Aysa Cloudsinger had suddenly gone bald. Not sure if it was deliberate or not, but with the new build they fixed it) So someone is paying attention to something. xD

Also submitted another report for Emeni’s Sethrak model. I took a look at it again last night with the animations and I can agree now with 100% certainty that she’s bugged. The texture of her cloak is IN her mouth.

Something else I noticed is that it appears there are horde specific quests involving Emeni. Not sure what that might mean. And you can only see this on the Beta version of WoWhead.

I can honestly see it going either way. Blizz has an open door to spin them to either side if they want without really breaking lore.

We can either get the green Sethrak followers of Sethraliss in the Horde.

Or the godless Grey ones in the Alliance.

Either way I just really want Blizz to add Sethrak or Naga to the game… I want to be a reptile girl.

I’m always a little hesitant with Naga, but I cannot lie. I would definitely make one if the option were there. So who am I to complain?

I could go either way. For one, I like the dichotomy of Alliance having snakes and Horde having foxes. It’s a neat opposition, almost as good as orcs vs humans.

But to have Sethrak go Horde would further establish the Horde’s ‘beast’ sort of identity, and anything that’s not a blood elf on Horde side is a good thing

I think its high time the Alliance got something truly… “beast” like on their side.

Draenei are good, and the Worgen are neat, but they’re not really “beast” by default.
