Unofficial Sethrak Discussion Thread šŸ

You touch Eluneā€™s followers and I will hunt you down myself.

We donā€™t really have any other races coming from the Wild Gods. Actually scratch that, the Tortollan might come from their Loa. Night Elves while they look like Cenarius looked that way before they met him, and he taught a splinter group of the Yuangol first, that would later be the Tauren, Highmountain Tauren and the Taunka.

Thereā€™s strong hints that the Yaungol were created by a bovine demi-god of some kind (most likely Niuzao) and the quillboar were definitely spawned by Agamaggan.

Oh shoot I forgot the Quillboar! T_T

Didnā€™t know that about the Yuangol. I missed out on Pandaria. Very interesting.

Oo, harpies too! Theyā€™re Avianaā€™s fault. Forgot about them.

Oh damnit!

Fiiine. Theres many made by Wild Gods/Loa.

Still hope Sethraliss has some special quality though that makes her important in SLs.

Furbolgs came from Jalgar, a race of bears created by Ursoc. Worgen were transformed/created by the power of Goldrinn and are attuned to him. Brann speculates that Pandaren and Tauren came from a wild god too. So itā€™s prettu much hinted that in warcraft lore all animal people come from random wild gods deciding ā€œheeeyyy I want my own humanoid peopleā€.

Trollā€™s should all die!

Not if they follow Elune. Not all Trolls are evil. My people were once Dark Trolls. By extension every elf traces their lineage back to the Dark Trolls.

So we have:
Sethrak, Tortollan, Quillboar, Furbolg, Harpies, Yuangol, Dryads, Keepers of the grove, Worgen (technically a curse) and maybe Pandarenā€¦

Anyone got any others?

The fact that something went screwy with her resurrection would definitely be a strong tie into Ardenweald. Where we already know that Tyrande will be having an extensive storyline.

What faction is Tyrande on again?

It would actually be interesting if Sethrak following Loa became an Alliance race, so the Alliance has access to a horde faith.

Horde have pretty much copied the Alliance in all our faiths except maybe Void now. We still have no loas nor Anā€™she.

Oh gods I was just thinking Trolls didnā€™t come from a Wild God so theyā€™re completely naturalā€¦ then I remembered Bwomsamdi looks like a Trollā€¦ what if he made Trolls as part of the life death thing to keep souls bringing Anima to the Shadowlandsā€¦ lol

That would mean the Horde can blame elves on him too :joy:

I dunno about that, though, Bwomsamdi doesnā€™t really seem like the ā€œcreatingā€ type.

I still like the theory that trolls appeared in Azerothā€™s image and that when she finally shows up sheā€™s going to look like a big honkin troll lady.

Lol, so that explains the origins of trolls too and therefore elves. At this rate the only race without an Origin will be draenei.

This would mean Nā€™zoth was right!

THAT would be amazing. 10/10 we could all go home. lol

Also true enough. I doubt my little idea is going to be true. lol

Oh wouldnā€™t that be amusing!

Well another thing I noticed about Sethraliss is after her rebirth sheā€™s also classified as undead.

That isā€¦curious.

Either Blizzard made a bit of a mistake someplace orā€¦

They are actually planning something for Shadowlands. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, they did remove her further involvement in the game after sheā€™s resurrected, and she does nothing else despite being resurrected to help lol. So, who knows.

ā€œIn densest jungle of darkest green,
Rules mother of many, but rarely seen.
Warm and lush and full of life.
Iron will and without strife.

Her mind unfurls, envelops all.
Her faithful ever heed her call.
Across de ages her eyes do see,
Seeking de best for you and me.

Through darkest night, and brightest day,
She will ever find her way.
In her, ya haven will be found.
Her all for us, her care profound.

Love unsurpassed will surely be,
When Sethraliss ya truly seeā€

This poem/song about Sethraliss also seems to indicate she is tied to life and nature.

The mind part is interesting. Are snakes referred to the mind in religious stuff anywhere?

GW2 has a big old snakey boi dragon who is tied to the mind too.

Moldymoth! Haha, jk. Mordremoth. And heā€™s also jungle tied.

Here is what I found. It seems like it in some aspects in relation to poison and venom. Though transformation could be related to the mind as well.

Ah Mordremoth! I remember that name. Hated the final fight in the story.

Neatā€¦ The expanding of mindsā€¦ That could be used with the rebirth to assist Tyrandeā€¦ Help pull that stick outa her butt.
