It is very unique.
And as small as it is, it gives me hope that theyāre intended to be playable.
And itās interesting that it only happens in those sort of instances. Never seen a Sethrak blink and snakes canāt blink in real life. Has anyone seen any blinking?

Iāll have to go through the Model viewer and mess with the other animations to see just how many include that particular animation and do some other comparisons with other speculated AR races.
Any other peculiar animations people have noticed? Aside from the Heart of Azeroth. Even though thatās a big one.
if I remember right cloaks are setup for them too which is another big one generally.
And they had geosets in beta but they redacted that. Maybe to hide it. But I think WoWhead says the file is still there in game though?
I also donāt think their armor is baked into their model? Not sure if I am right about that.
I seem to remember that Sethraliss was a baked in model armor wise but I think the rest of the Sethrak are not.
I think after Vulpera/Sethrak model stuff and the geosets were data-mined they were suddenly much more secretive and stopped updating the Sethrak. They were adjusting/adding animations and tweaking things right up to that point.
I donāt think they just happened to finish all their work then and there, they just stopped pushing the changes out for more surprise.
I am hoping this will turn out to be true. I definitely see it being strongly possible.
Though when did they datamine player animations on Mechagnomes? Or do they just share animations with regular Gnomes and people assumed it was datamined?
Also. I played with the model viewer some more for Sethrak and noticed a few things:
The eyecap/lens animation is present in the following animations:
Death
Stun
Sleep
Drown/Drowned
So that might be telling as Iāve said before. Especially since we know that they donāt blink.
Another thing is, they may not need much tweaking to the eyes as far as movement goes. The pupils are conveniently set in their eyes at a position that pretty much allows the appearance of eye movement as long as the Sethrak moves their head. Which would be accurate for Snakes since their eyes are set in their sockets and thus cannot move their eyeballs like mammals can.
Also noticed their spaulders clip with their arms in certain animations which is just more confirmation to me that their armor is not baked into their models.

Came across a relatively recent voting on allied/playable races while just browsing the internet, dated back to June 2019.
The choices were as follows:

Now for the votes. Of the 372 votes tallied, this is where the races fell:

People like and want Sethrak. 
every poll Iāve seen has Sethrak in the lead and by a good margin.
It used to be Naga led all the āmake this race playableā polls. People really like their ssssnakesss.
Probs because Sethrak are the most playable Reptile race currently in the game as they can use alot of player gear minus helmets and alot of the cloaks pretty much wheras Naga/Slith dont exactly have a humanoid lower half body.
Saurok are the only other option left and they have next to no geosets and run an NPC skeleton built off the Worgens.
It definitely seems like the trend! Even that small poll on the forums the other week had Sethrak in the lead and that was even a smaller sample than this one I found.
This is completely true. Pretty good for Sethrak that they have legs.
On a rl note, my Hognose snake, Hershey got to see a vet today! I called my local vet because I was at a loss of what to do and they agreed to check him out even though they donāt do exotics. Vet did a lot of research for me and Hershey and we got meds today. Might just be a kidney infection or early stage renal disease. So antibiotics and fluid therapy.
So go Hershey!
