Leoroxx, Leader of Mok’Nathal - by Tol’karg

It’s nice to see Leoroxx getting his own model. With this, we can imagine what other Mok’Nathal could look like in the game.

Very nice!

I can’t remember was Leoroxx a half ogre like Rexxar? I thought they were just an orc and had had a child with an ogre?

No Leoroxx is a Mok’Nathal like his son. That’s why we really need Mok’Nathal get their own model and not the Mag’har Orc model to avoid this confusion.

We know nothing about his wife. She is dead or still alive. I think we can say she is a Mok’Nathal too.

I very much agree.

Especially now that Rexxar has his own model with physical differences in game it makes a lot of sense to build that out to the rest of the Moknathal that are half ogres and while they’re at it let us play as them!

On the alternate Draenor, only Rexxar is seen with no mention of the other Mok’Nathal. In an early WoD preview, it is implied that they were to appear in larger numbers.

It’s really a shame because they could get their own model. But the biggest lost is their lore. If Mok’Nathal could have been present in WoD, we could have explored their lore deeper but it didn’t happen.

I hope with the Kosh’harg festival, we could have more lore about them and they could have a better presence in the Horde.

Rexar was important, his race is not. I don’t see a lot of reason for them. A slightly bigger, yellower Orc with an ogre face. Eh.

Many things should have been better in WoD honestly.

They cut so much.

This does give me hope though that the Mok’nathal are coming together again.

That would be nice to know if more of the Mok’Nathal Clan had survival on AU Draenor besides being wiped out and Rexxar being the only one left.

Mok’Nathal should get a place in the Horde council because they are a part of the Horde since BC. A Mok’Nathal ambassador with some Mok’Nathal warriors could be nice thing in Orgrimmar too.

Given that ARs are on the table again and have no restraints clearly, they should be a full Allied Race.

I wish they’d work them into the story and make them playable/available at a faster pace. :frowning:
So many that’d make great options…

Even if Mok’Nathal won’t be playable until the end of The Last Titan. We need to keep hope because I’m pretty sure we could get them one day.

We can even hope for a Mok’Nathal race in the Midnight expansion if we get a patch with Yrel and her Lightbound because it will be a good opportunity to develop them when WoD didn’t do it.

With the Mok’nathal being involved in the Orcish Heritage questline I don’t see any good bar to them being an Allied Race.

Even if we don’t get Mok’Nathal for the next expansions, we could still hope they could get some time screen for Midnight or their own model for a future expansion (and why not for the Titan Soul saga) and to become playable soon.

A loved race that should be added as an AR.

I find some skin colors we could use for the Mok’nathal when we will get them as playable race:

besides a few known named characters are most of the mok’nathal names similar to orc names?

More or less, though I’d say all the named ones are also similar to Orc names.

if a mok’nathal is half orc and half ogre but has a lil bit of draenei in em to where their eyes shine just like theirs do how much of a % is that? kinda like how garona has Draenei glowy eyes
