If they let Sethrak be druids I’ll be even more flustered about which toon I play on most.>.< lol
My current (and normally my main) is a druid.
I’d also really like a Sethrak priest, paladin, and mage.

Surely looks like it. Probably not a prelude to playable Sethrak. Lol
Still good to see the model isn’t forgotten.
With luck blizzard will hear those of us who want Sethrak and add them sooner rather than later.
Seems the stone-drag-sethrak are actually titanforged, there’s some in the new uldaman dungeon. One is even a boss.
Now that… Is an interesting implication…
It’s weird is what it is, I don’t think they’re related to our regular sethrak and instead, it’s just model reuse. Because we know that the sethrak have been around for at least 16k years. The first titanforged Vrykul and Mogu only started to become flesh around 15k years ago what we know of.
If the sethrak are descendants of these titan constructs then they would have to have been cursed quite a while before the rest.
Yeah it would be quite the retcon. Plus it would suggest Sethraliss didn’t make them which is all but stated directly.
Wowhead posted this… has some more pictures of the stoney sethrak.
Gotta scroll a ways through it.
Wowhead has them just labeled as Sethrak so I’m not sure if thats their file label or if its just wowhead going fast through the picture data.
Still heres some more pictures.

I kinda hope its a bit of a reuse of the model rather than a retcon of their origin. Still nice to see Blizzard clearly hasn’t forgotten the model.
Seems there will be a group of these for most flights.
Sethrak for the players!
What I find interesting is that it’s implied in dragonflight though is that all “native/natural” life originates from elementals. Which makes sense since elementals are found on all planets in the mortal realm/great dark beyond.
So some primalists turn some furbolgs into elementals raving about how they should not follow the aspects and their sucky absent titan masters, instead, they should return to their roots.
Okay so… Why can I not be a Sethrak as they now exist beyond Vol’dun?
because they arent sethrak. i mean they look closer to and are clearly intended to be a dragonkin type variant. its just a model reuse
Wanted to wish Sethrak fans a happy World Snake Day! Got some fun videos to share for the occasion:
Let’s get some more reptiles on that character creation screen!
Also popping in to wish everyone a Happy World Snake Day!
I agree. Though perhaps she herself has origins here in some way or another. despite being a Wild God.
If these stoneborn Sethrak are in anyway related to the ones in Voldun, that will be odd but interesting indeed.
Thats possible. Not all Wild Gods are exactly the same. Bwomsomdi for instance was likely not always a wild god/loa from his own lines in SLs.
Could be that Sethraliss was at one point a Titan construct that became one. Or maybe she just saw these titan snake people becoming afflicted with the curse of flesh and took them under her scales.
I look forward to learning more.
Sethrak for the players!
Been trying to think what my Sethrak would be doing during the “several years” between SLs and DF.
In her case it still depend a little on how the Sethrak join and the story there.
Like if I get everything I wish for she’d be a part of the Remnant of the Faithless who would’ve joined the Alliance. In which case she’d probably spend the time trying to reconnect her people with Sethraliss and teach them that despite their beliefs and their failure they can follow her again and still not abide the Devoted’s choice of ally.
If the Sethrak only join as the Devoted and were Horde only, she’d probably take her flock around to fight off any Scourge forces that may still be wandering around the Barrens and Vol’dun.
If the Devoted only join and are Alliance she’d do pretty much the same but around Elwynn and Vol’dun.
I mean you would start in the Past in Vol’dun helping the Vulpera and such and then like when Blizzard ever makes these guys playable I say around during SL and DF whatever timeline the Sethrak returns something cool would happen.
So turns out that the Refti NPC that’s supposed to give exposition on who the Refti are was bugged in current build and didn’t have the correct dialogue but it will be fixed in the next/or future build.
I wonder what we will learn.
I just saw that they’re supposedly all female. Which is interesting. There are species of snakes that are like this. They reproduce by clones of themselves. The term is called parthenogenesis.
While I am merely speculating, could Sethraliss have been a Refti? Possibly changed by the primordial and elemental magic? Who knows. But it’s interesting to think about.
That would honestly be awesome. I really hope these are somehow (though sensibly) linked to Sethrak.
As long as it makes sense, I’m good with it, yes. :3
Still kinda bummed we didn’t learn more about Emeni though.
