If it’s the only way we get them, I am not going to complain.
I don’t care what faction they join at this point.
Or if females and males look virtually the same, or if they add sexual dimorphism. (Though they would make a perfect androgynous race).
Or if the helm/head slot is locked like the slots on Mechagnomes. (Customization can make up for it)
I want my snake people and beggars can’t be choosers.

Yeah! I just realized, a way to avoid their heads looking bland would be to add a plethora of face/head customizations! Face jewelry, masks, face plates, headdresses, crowns! Think of the possibilities!

I hope they never add sexual dimorphism. Or at least if they do its extremely minor.
Also odd question but can I use how you setup the OP as the basis for setting up my own AR thread? (I’ll add credit for you and Zuro since I know both of you worked on the Design.)

Nah, but should go horde or if anything, Sethrak are the closer one to the horde since they are already allied with two horde race. Reptile for the horde and bird for the alliance.
Horde get sethrak and Saurok
Alliance get normal Arakoa and corrupted Arakoa

Snakes are pets
It’d be pretty nice if they could make them, and other races that majorly interact with both factions, neutral.
Honestly, goblins should be neutral too, and give the Alliance-based ones a different starting experience. Even if its just something small and whipped up like having them start in one of the vanilla cities.
Neutral Sethrak would be my preferred.
After that I prefer Alliance Sethrak, but realize that is unlikely.
100% very ok with them being Horde as well.
Just want Sethrak playable myself…

Yep! There are also dozens of snake species with unique facial features and structured as well. Hognoses, Eyelash Vipers, Horned Vipers, Rhino Vipers, Sidewinders and much much more.

Yeah that someone took it without crediting you both for your hard work bothered me immensely.
Honestly the options blizzard could come up with would be staggering.
Colors too.
Heck even tail types can get interesting.
And since some Sethrak were clearly warlike battle damage could be a nice thing too.
Torn hoods and scars and the like.
Sethrak could have a ton of options.

Honestly I’ve come to a point in my life in WoW where I don’t care with faction they are on just make them playable…
They legit have amazing unique animations (love the sleep), WoW needs fresh races!!, Neutral, Alliance or Horde I don’t care, I just want them playable 
.

On the subject of neutral Sethrak, if that ever happened, I was thinking of what faction I’d make my snake.
Oddly enough, though I feel like Sethrak fit better on the Alliance in my own personal opinion, I’d roll a Horde Sethrak. Then again, any neutral race in general I’d roll Horde since that is my preferred faction in the game. But regardless if they’re Horde or Alliance, we could use some reptilian races. Sethrak would be wonderful as one of them!
Let’s get some reptiles on that character creation screen!

Assuming they’re neutral, I’d have one that crosses over and I level two copies of him for both sides.
He’d be my Bronze dragon character who has ties to all my characters. 
(Sethrak Mage male.)
My main sethrak would be Priest and she’d be Alliance… cause I prefer to play Alliance most of the time. (Its where my Hubby is).
I would likely have a Sethrak Shaman on the Horde side though.

I preferree Sethrak over Vulpera. Would love for them to be playable. Due to the lack of Reptillian races. I wanted Naga but Sethrakk would be just as good!

I support folk who want their naga but they’re not for me. 
Sethrak on the other hand. Right up my alley. I might seriously switch my main for Sethrak.
