Unoffical Playable Saberon Discussion Thread

I read it so fast I thought I read Snagglepuss. LOL.

Yeah, wouldnā€™t bother me. More options for your characterā€™s physical build would be great.

You still have my support. I probably wonā€™t be on the forums too much anymore. People mass flag me now for some reason.

Rats. :disappointed: :umbrella:

Yeah, I guess people canā€™t accept someone elseā€™s opinions being different than theirs. Oh well, what are ya gonna do, right?

Had a couple of videos on my YouTube recommendations that are Saberon related. First is a lore video someone made of them, with some interesting facts about them:

And this video shows off in-game Saberon fur patterns and spins the models around to get a better look:

If I see anything else of Saberon interest, Iā€™ll be sure to share them! :cut_of_meat::tiger2:

Imagine Saberon models with the quality of playable races. Thereā€™s also so many fur patterns that Blizz can take inspiration from.

So looking at the lore of Saberon, it seems that there was a bit of a kerfuffle between them and Arakkoa. Iā€™m wondering if Saberon became playable, if it would make sense to have Arakkoa playable on the opposite faction to have a bit of storyline between them. Particularly if it is the Arakkoa from AU Draenor.

When playable races occur for both factions, it isnā€™t always in a pair that relates to each other in some way. However, if done right, it can be an interesting storyline when you do quests for those new races. I donā€™t know what direction the Horde/Alliance relationship will go in the future, but it was an interesting thought to have Arakkoa on one faction and Saberon on the other and play off their history with each other.

It would also be a good choice for playable races if a Lightbound invasion expansion happens, in my opinion. I can think of some neat opportunities if such a thing happened! :cut_of_meat::tiger2:

I imagine this all the time.

Yes it would make sense. except that Blizzard would make tyrande say something rude to both races and they would end up in the horde.

But I ā€œtrustā€ that Blizzard would go out, day and night, and invent some orange blood elve race or some wooden gnome to be paired with saberon and arakkoa being in the horde, so the more mocking members of the horde can make more mockery about the Allianceā€™s attractive diversity.

Pay these people no heed. They take the game too seriously.

Those of us who actually care about the game want interesting races for both factions. Balanced factions = healthy game.

Took a couple of screenshots of a Saberon at the allied race embassy at Orgrimmar and Stormwind:

Itā€™s fun to imagine them as a playable allied race. Hopefully theyā€™ll become playable someday, regardless of what faction they would join! :cut_of_meat::tiger2:

Still not entirely sure which side I really want these guys for but man they would be fun.

Iā€™m fairly open to whichever faction Saberon would be put on. I feel like there are reasons they could go to either faction that would work just fine, and Iā€™d be fine with either. Iā€™m more interested in seeing Saberon become playable to begin with, to be honest.

Iā€™ll have to consider what classes and specs I would make my Saberon characters if they did become playable. I usually only double up on a class spec if I have one on Alliance and one on Horde, so it would differ slightly if we got Horde or Alliance Saberon. Itā€™s fun to think about, though! :cut_of_meat::tiger2:

Same here. Iā€™d just be happy to get something I want and love added to the game instead of being taken away like the last two expansions.

personally iā€™d go with horde since we dont have a model like that and they could have some connection since the saberon that are on azeroth now are here due to the magā€™har
