They could also go the route of Mechagnomes. Some parts not being covered.
That appears to have been unappealing to most.
I suspect blizzard wonāt go that route.

I agree. Iād probably still want the Ethereal Camel to be their racial mount though for the sake of not having another race with a saber mount, but for sure have it as a reputation or raid drop mount. Weāve badly needed a replacement saber to meet the levels of the Spectral Tiger.

I like the idea of a camel being the racial mount for the reason you mentioned! But yeaā¦ gimme a reputation ethereal saber mount too!

Really the possibilities are endless. We arenāt really sure what creatures lived on Kāaresh besides the Ethereals and camels. They could make several different Ethereal-style mounts and battle pets.

Alright, Saberon or Arakkoa thread next?
Iāve been quite bored lately so want to do one of them tomorrow.

hopefully in 10.0 we might finally get a void expansion where we go to a shattered world of the ethereals. Itāll be like outlands but better than ever before. Hopefully we might get Ethereals as a Race.
Recently made a Saberon megathread, but my heart still resides with the Ethereals.
I hope so as well. Unfortunately itās a common belief in the lore community that 10.0 will be a return to Azeroth as a Cata 2.0 so weāll just have to wait and see.
Iād be ok, in fact Iād be thrilled, if they took an expansion to repair all the damage that has happened across Azeroth in a cata like shake up.
Many stories are still left uncompleted. Westfall being a mess still comes to mind not to mention my own homelandā¦
So Iām hopeful for a 10.0 or a 11.0 for this race. I honestly do think that the realm of the Arcane is a likely next point of the cosmos weāll see.
I agree that Arcane is likely the next point, and Ethereals are perfect to help us with that.

My favorite thing about Ethereals is their glowing soul under their armor and cloth, it looks absolutely amazing.
I hope that if they join, regardless of side, they show up in the capitol with a small delegation.
Few traders and diplomats and the like.
I very much want to see more of their architecture, not just small amounts of their technology here and there like weāve been getting so far.
