Unobtainable FOMO Challenge Reward in BMAH

The memes that’d come from that would be worth it.

a pink version. :sparkling_heart:
might as well go all out! meme the meme

i know this isn’t quite what your asking for but i’m 90% certain invincible uses the same skeleton as the sparkle-pony… assuming your talking the on the shop (or… used to be on the shop? i dunno if it’s still on there…).

Same skeleton! Different model though. There’s quite a few mounts now that use the skeleton.

I’m talking like, a black version of sparkle pony with the same model. Or a pure white one. Or heck, purple.

ah, gotcha… i’d like alternate colours of that limited-time flamesaber mount from HotS (or just the regular version). i mean, in HotS it had a fel-version and a sand-version… i think that’d be pretty-neat.

Honestly, they just need to put that thing on the BMAH, alongside like, Tyreal’s Charger.
Old promotional - Blizzard tied - items have no reason not to be. There’s no external companies that lead to copyright issues like the bikes.

It was pretty refreshing over on XIV to hear they’re in talking with the company that did a collaboration for some PvP mounts to try and get them back into the game.

i want a tint, so still sparkle, still transparent, but pink tinted. yes full on faery tale.

maybe a variant - sparkle but with pegasus wings instead of batwings or sparkle but an unicorn with no wings

Have you looked into the PvP coursers? No pink, but they seem up your alley.

they need to make the recolors and variants of store/etc mounts, quest chain obtainable from the expac they were released in originally. example:

quest chain for vanilla golden palamino in azeroth
quest chains for collectible card mounts and special event mounts just as recolors.
quest chain for seasonal mounts - recolored.
quest chains for discontinued mount recolors.
same for battlepets. recolor/re-release as quest rewards

No?

If those items were not advertised as a timed exclusive then I absolutely agree. If they were advertised as a timed exclusive then I do not.

I’m flattered that you think I have this much authority and power at Blizzard.

regardless of your situation, I want to know why you have FOMO, that’s not Blizzard’s problem, that’s your own. This question reaches far beyond the mere BMAH.

You should send this idea directly to Blizzard. Given how it would certainly drive up their token sales, they would be all over it.

Of course, that would just create or add to the anger/bitterness of players who (a) put in the time and effort to earn the item during the time limit and, understandably, expected Blizzard to keep to their end of the bargain, (b) people who already see the game as leaning too much towards pay-to-win and (c) desire specific no-longer-in-the–game items and then are outbid by people who can afford to throw away thousands of dollars on cosmetics in a video game.

But what is more lost subs.

I wholeheartedly disagree.

Both items are still available in-game.

They should remain have-to-earn-the-old-fashoined-way-by-playing-the-game-instead-of-being-able-to-pay-real-money-for items.

(Note: I do not have either item.)

This is a false equivalent, OP. If anything it’s weird that they ever removed the pet from the guild vendor, or that they allowed anyone in a guild regardless or not whether they participated in challenge mode runs to acquire a reward from said challenge modes. But this is apples and orange flavored candy- had they allowed some of the challenge mode armor set pieces in the bmah, THEN you’d have an argument, as that was the primary reward of the time limited content.

We already talked about this topic and you didnt reply when i mentioned mecha-done achievement getting easier on 9.1.5, so the idea of mounts being rares just because the drop is really awful below 1% doesn’t matter to devs, they can change anything.

For example, those mounts could remain locked to seasonal events with those low drops, but maybe remove the id, so you can spam and farm all day if you want, that way a player could farm with a single character all day.

Pretty sure that’s how HH was originally as well, even with a 5% drop rate back then IIRC. It definitely is the old-fashioned way!

Actually a lot of playes got it before the change to a single attempt per day, it should be reverted , that way a new player can spam season events if they want to try the mount, instead of following the curent path that you requires an incredibly amount of luck or a big army of alts and still luck.

Don’t forget the ridiculous 10/instance hour limit that is still in the game even after legacy dungeon/raid gold was nerfed into the ground.

So you not only need an amy of alts and sheer luck to go with them, but also need to fight the ridiculous instance limit cap.

that’s another issue that a lot of people complain each seasonal event, we need an army of alts ,also we need those alts on max level -10 in order to get epic box otherwise you don’t have a chance and then we must face the instance limit…even if you could run your 40+ characters in like 1.5-2 hours it takes you like 4+ due to that limit.

And I respectfully disagree with you. This is a video game and the individual sense of fun and accomplishment should take priority over those who just want cosmetics that are no longer available.
