I mean you can still soar by 600%+ speed in all zones (that allow flying).

I honestly say keep the nerf and allow Dragonriding in all zones.

Or, undo the nerf and allow dragonriding since thats the feedback literally every tester has given them.

I mean, you’re already soaring faster than any normal mount. And you won’t be soaring when you have access to your dragon. Soar will become irrelevant in DF zones.

I would also like to respectfully remind blizzard that they should PLEASE NERF THE COOLDOWN ON SOAR thank you. I would rather soar or swim through the air as a dragon than use any of my mounts ever again, but i will also gladly ride a dragon for dragonflight, sometimes.

I think the Dracthyr starting zone should have a passive “Home Turf (or other name)” that reduces their Soar CS to 2 mins while in the zone because the zone has alot of stuff which require Soar to access.

Exactly. Its already irrelevant compared to dragonriding and flying. No logical reason to nerf it.

The logical reason (at least in Blizzards eyes and they do have a bit of a point) is for Old World zones.

I personally believe that Blizzard is using the Dracthyr Soar racial in the old world as a test ground to see how well a base dragonriding will be and if it should be implimented in the old world.

I mean i don’t plan to play a Dracthyr anyway so it doesn’t matter much to me but on a game scale level it’s a 5 minute cooldown and seems to do the same thing dragon riding does just without the dragon, and only out of combat so, it shouldn’t really matter too much how much you can glide around outside of combat when everyone else can do the same thing just with a 1.5 second cast time with zero cooldown.

Revert the soar nerf and also let regular flying be obtainable through dragonriding, can’t believe they removed the tier 9 talent that stated we could get regular flight back, this needs to be elevated as an issue immediately.

Probably one of the dumbest arguments anyone could make. Actually it is in the game. Called alpha. And it was fine as is and needed no changes. We have every right to complain.
