and if you add transmog carrying over to retail, you’re literally screwing over the target playerbase of classic. those who want an authentic, community driven experience. so that sounds like a good reason to not have this system in.
I know exactly the targeted product is. But having a cosmetic option for retail upon earning will not change gameplay. The targeted audience won’t play retail and is not enough to sustain the product has most people have moved on or will not stay because of Blizzard current reputation
Old School RuneScape is an example of Old School RuneScape and nothing else. What happens or doesn’t happen with that game has no impact on WoW: Classic.
Classic will not change. If it does then it’s no longer Classic.
but it would change gameplay. you’re literally increasing turnaround. you are making a change to classic to appeal to the non target demographic of classic at the expense of the target demographic. think about that for as econd.
If it’s so “awful” then why are you subbed? The primary reason is nostalgia, and collecting items is an experience in classic that role players are already did.

That’s what you’re doing though. Unlocking transmogs from Classic to retail is a form of transmog in Classic. Indirect or not, it’s transmog. It doesn’t belong in Classic.
