I played rogue / warrior / priest in legion and have all the skins unlocked for those classes. In BFA i went paladin / druid. Shame I cant get the tmog now as I really like the druid scythe. But im 100% certain itll eventually come back. It took 15 years for them to make legendaries tmoggable so just keep waiting
Why are you so sure about that? They didnāt bring back any of the elite PvP stuff, and thatās been removed since wrath with t2 weapons. They also didnāt bring back any of the CM stuff from MoP or WoD, and itās been like 6 years since MoP.
The only real example you can point to is bringing back classic PvP armor, but thatās about it.
Whole heartedly agree. We all pay for this game monthly, on top of paying for expansion upon expansion that comes out as well. Feels like I donāt get what Iām paying for when they take things out of the game to an extent : / why not just keep things obtainable especially since weāre all paying so much money?
The only item in game I feel blizz is prevented from bringing back is the Horde Motorcycle from the Motorcycle contest and that has more to do with California Contest law "Clearly Alliance favoritism
"
In regards to the Mage Tower, as someone who got the appearances they wanted āH-pally, and Havoc DH, and Ret out of boredom even though it looks awful imoā I have no problem with them bringing back the MT, however it should be just as difficult as it was to earn the skin back in 110. So as long as they maintain the difficulty itās all good.
Because youāre supposed to get them when they offer them, you had almost an entire year to do it. Thatās what time limited content is, even in games you donāt pay anything for they still do that.
Legion magetower was a challenge for legion players at that time⦠the skins show you played hard during that time and they all should stay locked. There will be more challenges to come . If you want them then play for them, but quit crying about them when there gone.
I just wish their TOS was more relaxed. I was deployed overseas during 90% of MoP and missed all the fun CMās, and now canāt ever get the Hunter or Shammy oneās iām pining over. But I have several friends who have since quit and offered to give me their accounts/toons with those appearances. But due to to the whole āonly same last nameā crap, Iām unable to lol
You know this may sound lame, but Iād kind of like them to put the Legion pre-patch gear back at the Nethershard vendor for mogs only. Those arenāt prestige rewards but I am missing a few that Iād like to have.
I totally agree, it makes it less valuable if they just open it back up. I feel like they should do this more often. Sorry if you werenāt playing and didnāt get it in time or lacked the skill to obtain it. Git gud
I donāt think they should reopen any time limited content. I was pretty bummed out when I did missed alot of MoP and couldnāt get the Phoenix mounts and challenge skins but I think certain things should remain exclusive.
Thereās quite a few people in here who have the majority of time gated content unlocked, and are in favor of not removing content for future players. This speaks volumes.
WoW has the technology to scale players to the correct power levels to keep it challenging, hell, you could even make it slightly harder for all I care, but removing content entirely is silly.
If you have something and only think itās cool because no one else can get it, and donāt want anyone else to ever have the chance to get it lest it loses its value to you, you need to re-evaluate yourself, because thatās just sad. Why does how many other people have the thing you like reduce or increase its value, rather than basing it solely on whether you like it or notā¦
It is cool because no one else can get it⦠it says we were playing during legion and we earned that skin through legions biggest challenge. Why should it be brought back for everyone if its legion content that was announced as time gated and will be going away. Its an award and its not sad to like having something special that you earned.
They canāt readd hit, expertise, old abilities of those times. Scaling back just a level and stats does not make it the same challenge it was. Like I mentioned above, even Free to Play games have time limited content, this is not something new or exclusive to just Warcraft. Call us elitist all you want just because you want a free pass.
If they open up the mage tower then they have to open the Mists sets too, which really quotient be fair to those who worked to get them. While I wished I would have gotten all of the druid looks from the mage tower, I only really wanted the resto staff and it took over 100 tries to get it. Opening that back up now seems really unfair. It withe be nice and generous to those that didnāt get it and I understand that but at the same time we have to work to get that stuff from that tower.
If they open the message tower I want that druid set from Mists.
Ye shall not haz!
No. And I bet if they made another mage tower you wouldnāt do it then complain when that one is removed.
I mean, how is this any different than a tier set being obtainable after the next xpac?
To say that the mage tower was a challenge is a straw man because any legion mythic Raid was more challenging that the mage tower.
I donāt have a horse in this race. Are there appearances I want? Yeah, but I never got the original living longbow in vanilla so I came to grips with these issues.
That said, someone being able to get a skin today doesnāt diminish the achievement of finishing the mage tower, just like xmog runs of legacy raids doesnāt take away the challenge of working towards that goal with guild mates when it was current. The only difference between mage tower appearances and raids is that mage towers were an individual experience, and raids were a group working toward a goal. In both scenarios no one else can take that experience away from you.
Havenāt you legion babies ruined this game enough already? Who is going to carry your LFRs when you push whats left of the already dwindling original playerbase that has invested more than you ever could at this point?
Hahahaha. Its literally a marketing tactic by blizz for smooth brained idiots (like yourself). Its a fear of missing out thing, and it makes you feel āspecialā for getting something that is literally an asset in the game code, that is and will be there forever.
And then it triggers another psychological response, in which you defend Blizzās unethical practices, because you now have the need to feel special. At the end of the day, blizz laughs at you (and probably your parents who pay for your sub) for paying into the unethical system.
Congrats, you have been manipulated by a large global corporation.
